2 ★I've had this app for about..id say three years now-? But after the new update theres ads after EVERY. SINGLE. CHAPTER! and that's not even what bothers me! Wattpad has a terrible time trying to save off where I left the chapter of my book...usually I'll leave my book to read something else and I'll come back to it and I'm all the way at the beginning of the chapter...Uninstalling if this does not get fixed!!
5 ★Well working, useful ,and honestly sorta fun.this app is for sure a go to for reading, it has alot of genres to choose from, there are some really good books on here. And you are able to write your own for free,but one thing that sorta gets annoying is when you go to a new chapter you have to watch an add, and when your offline you don't have to watch ads but the book closes automatically and you lose your chapter. I'm not sure if that is a glitch but overall this is a great app
1 ★Tons of ads and glitches! I've been using this app for years and ads would be every few chapters but now it's every single chapter and if ingo back for any reason another ad. And the glitches!!! They are horrible! It freezes and then shoots up and I loose my place so I start scrolling down just for it to shoot down! I loved this app for so long but with these 2 issues it makes me not even want to get on anymore. :( please fix these issues!
1 ★Lately, there's been alot of ads after each chapter. It used to be around 4 chapters, but now its annoying. Also, lately when i loaded onto the chapter it restarts me, even if i was already at the end of the chapter. The commenting is also bad, it doesn't let me type everything without having to retry MULTIPLE times. Please fix this... Its really annoying.
1 ★It started off as a good app, but now you have to watch a 30-second add between each chapter, no matter if it's a super short chapter or a super long one. Which wouldn't be a big deal if I've spent 10 minutes reading one chapter, but when it only takes me 2 to 5 minutes to read one, it's ridiculous. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. The only reason I haven't deleted it yet is because I have unfinished stories to read.
1 ★I've had this app for years, I miss how it was before most of the changes, the only update I don't mind is when you start reading a new story it's easier to find if you accidentally exit out, but it's now full of adds and premium accessibility stuff, and I understand that it's for authors, but it was one of the reasons I loved the app was because it was free, I thought it was advertised that way in the beginning, and there's not really any good stories like there used to be either.
3 ★Sooo my only problem really with the app is it gives ya' quite a few ads! You can easily avoide this issue if you read of off chrome! It still gives you ads, but they are REALLY easy to ignore its just a little pop-up once in a while. It has a "X" to press the second theirs a pop-up! I overall really like Wattpad (more or so the writers but yk) Wattpad in its self is okay?? At best, the app is a little weird.. Can delete works at times + falsely give tags on works (no more space:'(
1 ★I love Wattpad, it's an app I'd love to recommend but... this new update sucks. in editing mode images delete themselves, and you can't just make one selected thing italic because it makes everything italic too, it slides your screen to the very bottom which makes writing hard, it centers your paragraphs and won't change them back—all in all, it's just terrible now. The ads before were tolerable and honestly reasonable with the quantity being only after a few chapters but now it's just too much.
2 ★Whenever I publish a work after five days it moves the table of contents around, I try editing it back, it doesn't move, if anything It gets worse. Sometimes I write and I click the button save whenever I'm done, and sometimes it randomly does not save and instead deletes all my hard work. This has been going on for months. at first I tried to be understanding, I know every app isn't perfect but now it's getting out of hand, I can't even write and publish books in peace, Fix your app Wattpad!
2 ★2 MAJOR issues I've discovered with this app. When you are editing your work, every backspace or single letter makes the writer jump to the bottom of screen and you have to scroll back up to find the spot you were at, which is impossible when you make a symbol beside words that need to be italics. Also, THE AUTHOR SHOULD NOT SEE ADS WHEN LOOKING AT THEIR OWN WORK!!! WHAT BS IS THIS? It's MY work. Why are you making money on me looking at MY OWN WORK to make sure it's right? Gross and unethical.
4 ★I love this app, I love wrighting, peaple love my books, and I love reading other peaple book especially for the stuff I like! However, this app has stop me notifications, I tried everything, uninstall then reinstalling the app, reseting my phone, messing with my settings, restarting my settings but nothing works. Please! Can you fix this problem? I end up missing privet messages, comments, and other thing I should get notifications for and it suck. If you can thank you so much.
4 ★Ok to start its a good app I like it alot but a couple months ago I started having problems. The problems I had and are still having is when I go to read a story or click on one to read the description it just sits there a loads and some times I sit and wait to see if it will stop loading but it never does so most times I'm stuck having to close the app and go back in but even that doesn't guarantee that the story will load.and this is only with my phone not any other device.
