名門の筋や素封家の子弟が入学する事で知られる
英徳学園高校に、娘の玉の輿を願う母親の勧めで入学した
一般庶民の牧野つくし。
学校は、道明寺財閥の御曹司・司、花沢物産の御曹司・類、
日本一の茶道の家元「西門流」の跡取り息子・総二郎、
総合商社・美作商事の息子あきらのF4（Flower 4―“花の四人組”）に牛耳られていた。
学校は、F4の親から多額の寄付を受けていたため、
生徒達はもちろん教師達ですら彼らに逆らう事が出来なかった。
つくしは、それに違和感を持ちながらも、平凡な高校生活を送ろうとしていた。
ところがある日、つくしはF4に花瓶の水をかけた事が原因で、
F4に赤札を貼られ、学校全体からいじめのターゲットにされてしまう。
しかし、正義感の強いつくしは彼らの性根を叩き直さんとばかりに立ち向かって行く。
そんな中、道明寺はつくしのことを好きになってしまい、
それからは彼女一途でそればかり……
いじめられ騙され続けたつくしの人生が、このF4によって変わり始めた。
次第に2人の思いは通じ合っていくが、様々な事情（楓が中心）が
彼らの恋路を阻むようになる。
