Description

Toq Alternative Notifications (a.k.a. ToqAN) is an app that enables Android Lollipop notifications to be sent properly to Qualcomm's Toq Smartwatch. Qualcomm's Default Toq is not being mantained anymore, and it does not work properly with Android Lollipop. All the text of the notifications are sent in the title section. This app sends those notifications properly and enables an applet with the devices current notifications.

5 ★Fixes the bogus notification issue where only the first line shows up in small text. If you're running lollipop this is a must, no question about it. Request for dev, can top line of notification display the notification app name and icon like the native Toq app? Thank you! Found on XDA

5 ★Pretty sad that it takes a 3rd party user to make that happen. Lesson learned though: I won't ever buy a Qualcomm branded product again.

4 ★The Qualcomm Toq app no longer gives detailed notifications on Lollipop. ToqAN fixes this. However, I have noticed that the app and my Toq stop communicating with each other after a while and I often have to send a test notification after connecting or I won't receive anything at all. I've also seen my Toq watch randomly reboot since using this app, but it boots back up pretty quickly. It's just an inconvenience. In a nutshell, it's a vast improvement on something that has become broken, but it's not perfect yet.

5 ★Love the way it displays information, compared to augmented smartwatch pro. It is very straightforward and easy to install. Only thing i'd need now is a way to disable sms notification on the watch, since this app shows it very well, but that is more from Qcom side than end user.
