How to install Heatmiser APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download Heatmiser APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.stickmanmobile.engineroom.heatmiser-v4.1-ApkClean.apk)

3 ★For LAN and especially WAN connectivity it would be much better to specify a DNS name since many residential broadband customer lack a static IP address and use dynamic DNS.

1 ★Trying to get it set up is a nightmare. All the heatmiser products seem tobe over complicated and over priced.

4 ★Now better than it used to be but still have connection issues despite the firewall being set for the port.

1 ★Not working LAN or WAN. I've fixed it. After filling the data connect to demo thermostat and then again on yours. It worked for mine.

4 ★The app seems to work well once the port forwarding on the router is all set up. The app takes a little longer than you would want to connect but I assume this is the slower connection to the router than most modern devices. The app guide isn't too helpful. It refers to a holiday function which isn't on the android app, although this is on the webpage if the device is accessed via a browser. The app has a hold back button / function but this is not referred to in the guide so you have to Google what this does. A quicker app connection and more straight forward guide / information would give it five stars.

1 ★Unfortunately I have to agree with the other reviews. This app is very poorly designed with one of the most unintuitive user interfaces I have seen in a long time. The functionality is very basic with no obvious way to switch the thermostat on/off or to actually apply settings. The app feels unresponsive due to a poorly implemented timer with no feedback to the user that it is updating or last update time. I hope the app for the new Neo is better than this!
