1 ★Useless and barely functional. Shame on you Samsung for not only writing such a poor implementation, but for not improving it. Done with overpriced, buggy, faulty Samsung appliances. There are better choices available.

1 ★Holy garbage Batman. To set up, log in your WiFi. Then initialize fridge into eSmart mode. Connect directly to the fridge wifi with your device. Randomly push stuff in the app and wait. Magically it will work. The app itself is garbage. I thought I could retrieve codes to get my fridge to work, nope. Thought I could monitor Heath, nope. Just provides minimal almost useless support.
1 ★app is garbage won't connect to my refrigerator. more over why would you develop an app that only works on Samsung phones and not even consistently at that...stupid, not everyone wants to or owns a Samsung phone. lg has way better smart apps for their products, after this thing dies i will never purchase anything from Samsung ever again... you've lost a loyal customer forever. You used to be a better company and have quality products.
1 ★I spent some time getting it to connect, but that wasn't too bad. However, It's a waste of phone memory. It does absolutely nothing. It also doesn't fit my screen, so I can't see some of the bottom features, but I really don't think I'm missing anything.
3 ★There were some trouble during initial connection but since connected it works. Would be nice if it showed per day power consumption histogram, not just cumulative for the month.
1 ★Horrible app. Does not explain functions of features. No help is available. Techs at Samsung are unable to offer help because they dont know how to control the app either. Waste of time. The features need to be explained better so users understand the options.
1 ★I just bought a Samsung Model # RF24J9960S4. It talks about the E-Smart in the booklet, and it has an indicator on it's control panel. However, this F'ing app apparently doesn't support this fridge. Nor does Samsung apparently make another app. Nice. In addition, I tried to use this app before I checked supported model numbers. It seems like it is going to work, but all it does is kick my phone off the network, and actually remove the network from my WiFi connections. Smooth. Not too impressed, Samsung...
3 ★Struggled to get it to work. After many fruitless attempts, it began working after I had unplugged the fridge when I cleaned behind it, then plugged it in again. Even then, I could: see the freezer and refrigerator temps, but not change them; turn on the Ice Maker, Power Cool, Power Freeze and Defrost features; and see Power Consumption. It does not notify me when the door is left ajar. That would be useful. Since the app is only functional within the home network, so what? Not worth the cost IMO.
4 ★The app works as directed. It was a challenge setting it up and getting the device to register to the app, but once installed as long as I stay on my LAN WiFi it connects no problem. What i am really waiting for is a way to connect via the API so that i can integrate with smart things.
1 ★Only accessible if you are close to your refrigerator. If you are close why not just look at the display. Totally useless.
4 ★The app works. Very simple. People are saying that the App junk and I believe it. But the fridge is not compatible with 5Ghz wifi connection. Try using standard 2.4ghz wifi. It should connect fine.
