Riding with Mobike is easy. Here’s how it works:
- Open the app and find a Mobike nearby on the map
- Tap on a Mobike to find directions to it. You can also reserve it for 15 minutes to make sure you have time to get to the bike you want.
- When you find your Mobike, unlock it by scanning the QR code on the lock that’s attached to the top of the rear wheel or the middle of the handlebar.
- Once unlocked, enjoy the two-wheeled ride to your destination. Ride safe!
- Once you’re done riding, park at any public bicycle parking spot, rack, or Mobike Preferred Location (MPL).
- Lock the bike by sliding the lock and see your trip details pop up immediately.
- Enjoy the rest of your day knowing you saved a little more time and money.

1 ★I tried verifying five times with new pictures of my passport, last name first, USA instead of United States, etc and nothing worked. some brain damaged employee is being pedantic about some rule and the stupid app doesn't tell you which part of your verification info is "incorrect". Guess they dont want my business.
2 ★A scam hidden behind a nice concept. I subscribed for a monthly membership and they confirmed but told me to "top up my account". These 5€ are lost and I still don't have the membership. What's more, they charged me twice a high amount (12€ in total) because the "bicycle didn't lock properly" while it was perfectly locked when I left. I even took a picture of it the second time
5 ★Says my account is frozen. Tried customers service in the app and shows instructions in Chinese. Not very helpful.
1 ★becarfull, they ripped me more tham 50 £ with in two monthes , one say they took 20 £ with out notifying me, and to day ,they claim i parked out side territory zone which i was only 15 meter away from recommend parking space , after they send a message, ,i took it to the recommended parking area they didn't refund me , not only that one day , the bike was malfunction and i can't lock it and they let me to pay more for 6 hours , Im not sure weather they are doing intentional or not,
1 ★Worst experience this month. Charged for improper parking but money not refunded even if parked properly soon as the message arrived to park at proper place within 12 hrs. Second time too, parked in proper operating area, but still charged for improper parking. Poor service. Money not refunded even after sending feedback. Not using the app again unless they refund my money back and not reverting the wrong improper parking allegation. Not recommended to use.Bike conditions also not up to the mark.
1 ★just saw one of these bikes by chance today in Berlin, downloaded the app and rented the bike. So far so good. Now this app is telling me I can only use it in the blue zone on their map otherwise a sevice charge applies. I found the bike outside that blue zone and I'm afraid Berlin is much bigger than this blue zone. I will not use this app again. Simply because all the cycling I will do will be outside of that zone. Well within Berlin city limits though.
1 ★I tried it once and accidentally overcharged the apps wallet, of course i sent a few emails and did not get my money back (thank you "support"). Besides that this is the most uncomfortable bike I've ridden in my life. I'll walk next time....
1 ★Horrible experience. Bike was stolen while in use. I reported this immediately. No attempts were made to contact me. After 20 days they are sending ridiculous charges. Very unprofesional service. Highly not recommended!!!
1 ★What the heck happened? I hired you guys way long ago for a month but CANCEL yesterday I see you charge me without my permission? How come is this possible? Seriously what an ABUSIVE manner, I want my money back, how is this going to happen?
1 ★The worst app!! They stole 120 dollars from me for parking the bike in a place they didn't have, and it wasn't clear that I couldn't leave it there, and this place is in the same city, thieves !!!!!, never install this application, just looking for ways to scam people
1 ★****This app is a scam**** DO NOT put money inside. On top of rarely finding a working bike, I recently unlocked a bike only to realized the chain was broken. I didn't move the bike at all and reported the issue via the app. I was then promptly informed via the app that I was fined for improper parking of the bike. This, after the app told me there are no designated parking areas for the bikes. If somehow its actually not a scam, it's just a laughably bad app.
1 ★app is laggy. instructions to scan qr code of parking zone NOT CLEAR enough. I used mobike before and stopped using until today. they charged me 5 sgd for parking in the parking zone but I did not scan the parking zone qr code. if you want to implement such a charge pls make it clear and bold. prior to this... my pass was auto renewed without any notification. disappinted at this money hungry app
