O aplicativo do Sistema de Cadeia de Custódia (SCC) foi desenvolvido para usuários de aparelhos móveis (celulares e tablets) para a consulta da rastreabilidade da madeira e de relatórios de produção das concessões florestais federais do Serviço Florestal Brasileiro.O objetivo é conferir transparência sobre as concessões florestais, assim como permitir que os interessados em adquirir madeira rastreada tenham em mãos uma ferramenta fácil de usar, possibilitando comprovar a legalidade e a origem da madeira proveniente de uma floresta pública federal explorada de forma sustentável. Para a consulta da rastreabilidade, o usuário deverá ter em mãos o QR Code fornecido pelo concessionário florestal referente à madeira em tora que saiu de uma área concedida ou à madeira serrada com origem em uma concessão florestal. Os dados do aplicativo referem-se à nova versão do SCC lançada em 2015.
