Description

iTags can be found at very cheap prices on internet.
The official App "iTracing" allows to use iTags as "connected ibeacons".

iTag Alarm allows to use your iTag as "magic button" to take pictures or selfies, to send alarms, location to any of your contacts.

iTag Alarm is fully integrated with "If This Then That". With your "magic button" and the "Maker Channel" you can can trigger any "Action Channel" you want

iTag Alarm is fully integrated with "Automate for Android". With your "magic button" launch any flowchart,

iTag Alarm allows you to trigger "web actions" : https links and MQTT integration. Use this for home automation

Use as many iTags everywhere without limitations, each one can trigger its own alarms !

iTag is a Bluetooth Low Energy device. When used with "iTag Alarm" it will draw almost no current, just a little when alarm is activated. So the battery should last very very long...

Pro Version of this App will work totally in the background, with very very low impact on your smartphone precious battery. It will as well remove ads.

Try the App, it's free and could help you to protect your family :
- give an iTag to older people to give them a way to call you in emergency conditions
- give a iTag to your children they can send you alarms with their location with a single click
- put an iTag in the dining room and press it when diner is ready !
- use an iTag to send a "Yo" to your friends
- send your location to friends during your trip or before a meeting
- with IFTTT automate your home and use buttons to make actions such as :
- if iTag On then launch music
- if iTag On then open googleMap and go home (or other address)
- if iTag On then send a mail with choosen content
- if iTag On then switch On cooler, Hue bulb,
- if iTag On then open garage door
- with Automate use buttons to create your automations with flowcharts :
- if iTag On then launch music
- if iTag On then open googleMap and go home (or other address)
- if iTag On then send a mail with choosen content
- if iTag On then switch On cooler, Hue bulb,
- if iTag On then open garage door
- take pictures with your phone as soon as you switch your iTag On, even when the screen is off or when the screen is locked (Pro version)
- and many more that you will invent ...

See here for an examples of "limitless possibilities" :

ITag Alarm + IFTTT + jeedom = home automation : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jqToa4_sEU

iTag Alarm + web Action = Halloween magic Candel : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVPlcz_0l4Q

PLEASE : I have been reported that a very few number of itags do not work with my App (today 0,1%). Before leaving a negative comment, try first your tag with the "iTracing App". If it works then it must work as well with my App. If not it won't work neither ...
Also do NOT pair your iTag with your Phone it is NOT needed.
And don't hesitate to leave 5 stars rating. Thank you

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★Hi... on samsung galaxy s9 Note Neither of 2 tags pair. They are visible in normal bluetooth list but wont add. Running your app does nothing. It may be a cheap tag or incompatibility issue. Just so you are aware. Same result with other similar apps.
5 ★Works great for the application the tech how ever is difficult you need to be some what near the lost item to make it start beeping
4 ★I found it buggy. Maybe this is due to some device firmware problem.
2 ★Tried this app to alert me when my phone has been taken away from the tag (e.g. phone stolen). Tag does nothing when phone is away and then only beeps when the app is opened and I'm back to within 2-3m of the tag. Tried two different tags from same Chinese manufacturer and same issue. Also app randomly won't detect either tag for long periods at 1m away once it's lost contact initially
3 ★Great idea, not perfect implementation. Application doesn't run properly in background and can't send proper notification with sound, just an icon appears in a tray, which is not enough and always too late
1 ★By far the worst and most useless app on the play store. Also written by another person who speaks broken english and attempts to translate this app to english, so of course instructions make no sense what so ever. Just sucks. Highly recomend you keep searching for a real app.
4 ★Most useful iTag app ive found so far. JG iTag Alarm doesnt crash like every othet iTag app Ive tried. It is a little tricky to understand at first but if you read the directions and the authors notes on the play page you should be able to figure it out. thanks
4 ★If you live DIY, this is for you! ...Offers a variety of options in a broad range of uses. It is not simple, but it is user customizable. It is, impressive.
1 ★Trash app amd device. I'm going online to buy try the tile device instead. It's a little more expensive but at least I know it will work. This app wants access to my photos and camera...for what? It wont function with or without the permission anyways. Trash!
5 ★If you enable Run Time Permissions, why does the app simply close if I refuse location permissions. I want to use Bluetooth, not GPS. Adjusted after explanation. You should tell this to users in the app, instead of simply close :-)
4 ★I like the idea, but it needs more tuning and a better design concept. Other then that it's alright. A bit slow on my part though.
3 ★I just bought this device to click photos on my phone while the phone being on a tripod. I still don't know exactly how to click photos with it via Bluetooth. I'm readily willing to give 5 stars if someone explains me how to use it as a Bluetooth shutter for mobile camera app.
