Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★If I use the microphone, I might have to stop, & delete the texts, I'm not sure why the words come out as a different phrase, or it might be, completely different, from what I spoke. @least I have the option to type or speak. Still like to say bravo to the person who invented it. Still having a problem with the keys not being wide enough. Is there a way to make the keyboard bigger?
5 ★Love having everything together and the emojis available. There are good things about Samsung keyboard too but every time I try to stay with that, I end up installing GBoard. The speech recognition is far better... It definitely still struggles with some words but it is the best out there. Also the layout, ability for adding the emoji bar, suggestions, and access to the password manager on the fly, keeps me using GBoard.
2 ★I turned off and then on again some permissions for the text correction and since then it won't correct my spelling as I am typing. When it does change spelling it's ridiculous like if I spell "thr" it changes it to "it". I gave feedback on the app and ha e heard nothing. I addition to this and far more annoying is that when I am not on my home wifi/data the sms will randomly stop working, and then start working, and then stop. It is super annoying and only impedes the sms, not mms or apps.
1 ★Not good. The software is misbehaving. Too much screen real-estate. Who or what is this designed for ? If I preferred to communicate with heiroglyphics, pictures, and cryptic symbols bound for misinterpretation - I imagine this software would be a good choice for that task. The old keyboard prior to 10/2023 appeared to be much more accurate and flawless. I wish to type my communications, in the language chosen by me in the settings of my device. Is there a professional option ?
1 ★Texting with Gboard the microphone icon for voice texting is right next to the send button. So my fat fingers often press send by mistake. I can move the microphone icon over to the left a bit but then it disappears when I start typing and lists word suggestions. So I have to tap the far Left icon to bring up the emojis gifs and the microphone icon to start voice texting again. If there were an option to keep that row of icons constantly visible. I would use this More.
5 ★Super functional and customizable keyboard. Love that it has "swipe selection" (even though you can't simply highlight text without deleting it with this feature, still the closest thing to the old jailbreak app) but I'm also dying to know 3 things. Why are the symbols on the keys so small and low contrast? Why is there no forward slash on its own letter key for easy access? And why can you only utilize the speech to text function if you also have the shortcut bar/suggestions bar toggled on?
3 ★It is a decent keyboard, that I've used for a long time now, but I'm always accidentally triggering the shortcut that activates one handed mode if my finger moves even a bit when I press the enter button. My 82 yr old mother has this same issue & can't remember how to fix it, & I'd guess we're not the only ones that this happens to. I have big hands & big fingers, which is why I have a BIG phone in the first place. So I think an actual button instead of this shortcut would work better Google.
2 ★this keyboard has tons of problems. there is a major bug on both my pixel 6 and 7 pro where frequently swipe typing will just stop working until i scribble circles. the dictionary, an important feature, is ridiculous - you have to click through several menu options to add a word and then it often ignores words you added. predictive text is a joke, it's not learning frequently used phrases, and many common words aren't included. swype was so much better but it doesn't exist now. DO BETTER GOOGLE!
2 ★Extremely frustrating there's no customizable shortcut (either dedicated or add onto existing keys). I use the tilde (~) character often and in Google's own Cantonese keyboard I just hold 'n', now I can only choose 'ñ' instead. What was 1 tap and hold now turns into 3 taps. Also why can't I double tap instead of tap and hold to select a word anymore?
1 ★The keyboard auto corrects even though it's disabled. The problem is that it's replacing misspelled words with completely irrelevant, out of context words without asking. It also completely removes words previously typed. So, if you don't edit Gboard texts, you end up sounding like a complete moron.
5 ★I really like using Gboard for my default keyboard! I like the layout and it's very easy to navigate through it. It would take a really cool keyboard to make me switch from Gboard, and I'm sure that wouldn't last long at all! I almost forgot, I haven't had any problems out of Gboard! Hopefully it stays that way!
3 ★Must take time to learn the system and how it interacts with what you are trying to use it with. As I am partially vision impaired background intensity can be useful. This app has that option. Dictionary access is very limited for word deletion if you enter, what you find out later, is a misspelled word.
