Yandex Navigator helps drivers plot the optimal route to their destination. The app takes traffic jams, accidents, road works, and other road events into account when plotting your route. Yandex Navigator will present you with up to three variants of your journey, starting with the fastest. If your selected journey takes you over toll roads, the app will warn you about this in advance.Yandex. Navigator uses voice prompts to guide you along your way, and displays your route on your device’s screen. Additionally, you can always see how many minutes and kilometers you have to go.
You can use your voice to interact with Yandex Navigator so that you don't have to take your hands off the wheel. Just say "Hey, Yandex" and the app will start listening for your commands. For example, "Hey, Yandex, let's go to 1 Lesnaya Street" or "Hey, Yandex, take me to Domodedovo Airport". You can also let Navigator know about road events you encounter (such as "Hey, Yandex, there is an accident in the right lane") or search for locations on the map (by simply saying "Hey, Yandex, Red Square").
Save time by choosing recent destinations from your history. Look through your recent destinations and favorites from any of your devices—they are saved in the cloud and available when and where you need them.
Yandex Navigator will guide you to your destinations in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Turkey.
The app suggests enabling the Yandex search widget for the notification panel.

3 ★İt definitely needs some route optimization update. Yet, still much better than google maps.
1 ★It announces route's information often quite late when I turned already. Plus GPS about location of car is periodically incorrect.(it shows I am somewhere on the street (into a yard) but I am on the high road .for an example the street has location after two roads ,omg. I have used it from time to time but I delete it right now. I do not want to drive several extra kilometrs .
4 ★very intuitive, love the app, my #1 navigation choice but have some negative feedback: the moment i stop around a sponsored fuel station, it asks me to confirm some privacy agreement, even though i dont want to use it. it is challenging and DANGEROUS to exit this screen while driving. please let us opt out or make it less intrusive. also, a very useful feature would be to let us choose some roads to avoid. i want to ignore an area, as if that area does not exist, so that i can avoid high tolls.
5 ★Could have been better... more grease to your elbow
5 ★The app is great, all is pretty good except one thing: the app constantly trying to download oflline maps while Wi-Fi AND mobile data both are turned on and device is outside home Wi-Fi (i.e gets Internet connection only via mobile data). Checkbox "Download offline maps via Wi-Fi only" was checked already. Guys, 500 Mb of mobile data is my limit per month, and it was reached by single map update. Not cool.
1 ★Latest update ruined it. Bring the English female voice back. The male David speak like a poorly tuned machine. Can I get rid of the annoying blue ractangulays popping amid driving. They distract me, let alone the are not informative
3 ★Requires update in Sweden. Eg. New road near Kämpagränden is not updated. I tried a route to a nearest shopping center, and it calculated a fast route the has lower speed limit of 30km and its a residential area while there is a parallel road with 70km speed shown to take 1 min extra. It will be nice if the developers can do some updates in Sweden as well. Also, the reporting events window should be little easy to navigate.
2 ★For the first ten minutes everythings fine, much smoother and better than google maps. but after ten minutes, the arrow gers stuck. this caused me to miss a lot of turns and exits. might be something wrong with the phone (xperia xz premium), i dont know.
5 ★Using every day, and I'm very satisfied. Highly accurate, best with house numbers,.....but. If I set in a car, punch address, app shows directions, start with navigation, but it doesn't know in what direction is my phone looking, mining, I don't know, rather go straight or go back, so always must start driving to see in which direction I am going. 50% chance to make 180 and than go as navi suggests. Maybe app can use compass actively.
4 ★Dear All, I use navigator to go to work. I add the work location into my list. I go to work via a third point between work and home. However, I couldn't save this path. Every day firstly I select work and then I find third point from path and I touch and select "via" option. Please, add "save path" option to app.
1 ★Bad service with many errors. The editor staff refuse to correct the errors. For example, they want to ensure that every address in New Zealand is incorrect. Customer support is entirely useless and dismisses my messages without actually reading them. I am asked to provide sources, and I provided a LINZ database, but Yandex has determined the New Zealand Government to be "suspicious". I advise that everyone here avoids Yandex Navigator and uses another service.
4 ★When the app recommends me a faster route I want to see the increase/decrease of the total distance in addition to the minutes that I will save with this new route. Sometimes I save couple of minutes with a faster route butI travel 10-20 km. more which I might not prefer all the time. For example, I want to see "-6 min & +10 km" for a faster route.
