Provided Geo-fence capabilities for the Vera Home Automation System.
Efficient on battery use. Accurate and responsive.

Features include:

Locations can be specified by address or located on the Google Map.

Fences can be specified by radius or selected interactively on the Map.

To provide an accurate transition when you arrive home with a small Geo-Fence radius, use the RAPID UPDATE option on a slightly larger radius. This will cause the application to be more aggressive (at the expense of battery) for the specified interval in detecting transitions.

2 ★App Unreliable, No Support From Developer. This app won't keep itself alive, so it only works for a short time. I have tried diddling with Android settings, to no avail. But here is the bottom line: I have other GPS enabled apps that just simply work and do not require diddling with settings. If I run one of those as a crutch along with Vera Proximity, Vera Proximity will stay alive longer. There is something that those other apps do that this one does not. It should not be me that figures what, it should be the developer. I have tried to get help from developer on mi Casa Verde Forum and by email but no help provided. Wasted my money on a license for this.

4 ★v3.12 and 13 keep crashing when opening the app. 3.11 works as a charm for me since many months. Update:3.14 does not crash but it keeps registering that the fence is being entered which put my vera in home mode even though I am at home. Now entering or exiting doesn't do anything. I did battery optimize the app. Even when the app is open when I enter or exit the fence nothing is done.

4 ★This app works well with Vera, however recently most of the entry and exit options have gone including 'rapid update' which makes it less accurate. There are only 3 entry options now. Registered user

5 ★1/2020 update: On Android 9 the app appears to be causing my phone to hang up every once and awhile. Original review: Great app. Works perfectly with UI7, just remember the 30 day evaluation period. If it stops working, chances are you forgot to register. I've been using the app consistently for over 2 years and the only issues I have run into is my phone occasionally "optimizing" the app and killing it. With N and O you can disable optimization on the app and it works perfectly.

1 ★Worked great initially, then stopped working completely after last update. (Samsung S4) Developer has stopped responding to requests to help debug issue.

4 ★Since last update sadly I have to say it no longer works. It did work with UI7 until the latest update and now it doesn't. It is obviously the way Vera does something so I can't hold it against the app. I used it so much I might downgrade. It was great to have to lock door and lights and also unlock.

3 ★Features are good and easy to setup. Problem is lack of accuracy. Sometimes it works great... triggers things quickly when fences are crossed, but most of the time it does not. Most of the time it is less accurate than Network Location in Tasker.

3 ★Other apps I could possibly do geo fencing with cannot log into my vera without opening up my vera to the world by port forwarding directly to it. A lot of apps are having issues logging in through the remote log in server. This one can. It seems like a work in progress. It could be so much better than what is but at the moment it's the only way I can do geo fencing with a vera. I'm not sure what free for 30 days means.
