Now, receive captions of what the person says when they say it with virtually no delay and with confidence from the convenience of your smartphone.
Through the use of a patented technology in conjunction with live steno writers, InnoCaption gives you the ability to make and receive phone calls like anybody else. There are no complicated steps or additional procedures to follow.
There is nothing for you to turn on or off; and we do not use any voice recognition software.

1 ★This app is extremely unreliable. When it works, it's great. But it very often does not work. Also, as a further caveat, the company had to shut down about a year so, for way longer than they said. It was due to some regulatory issues, but when I spoke to the regulatory agency, they contradicted what InnoCaption was telling customers.
1 ★Can't use at all. Installed on Samsung S8+ and crashes as soon as I hit the app button
3 ★This app is alright, but please add support for those that can't talk. Those that can't talk but that can hear, currently don't have any good options. I need the app to say what I type, but to still be able to hear what the other party says so the call goes faster. Currently the only option for me is Sprint IP, but since the app doesn't allow the user to hear what the other party says, that app is extremely slow. Plus, if you allowed people to type into this app and have it read to the other party, that would also help those that both can't hear or talk.
5 ★This app provides better captioning than other services I have tried, including ones with equipment for landlines. The captioning is better than some TV channels! There is a short pause before the process starts and the incoming call can start but one answers a call or makes one in the usual manner. Which is less cumbelson than some other mobile apps. The only issue I have found is having to provide people with a new phone number

3 ★I have made one successful call. Most hang up before I say hello simply because captions to slow. I explain I'm deaf but people are evil and have no time for handicapped people. Real people are hard enough without us.... Odd we are nobody. We should all be killed according to the latest news.😢

1 ★UPDATE 2FEB18 UGH! Very annoying but the only thing I can find for my mobile phone. The only way I can get 65%accuracy is if an automated voice calls! NOT 95% LIKE THEY SAY! Very frustrating and that's if you can get the call to actually go through. I really wish that the captions would be better. There are so many errors while trying to read what is being said, it causes frustration when you keep asking the caller to repeat what they said because the transcription makes absolutely no sense. Customer service is non-existent.
2 ★I only need captions for some people I speak to and it is more convenient to use voice mail on my actual phone number. I should be able to dial *86 and get voice mail through Verizon. When I dial from app, it rings twice and then gets cut off as "wrong feature code" pops up in the captioning window. InnoCaption appears to be disconnecting the call.
