A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★I like this app because it shows a map of locations where power outages could be found at. It will tell you how long it will last, and it shows a time when the power will be restored. In a apartment building where I live at in Scotia, it does not have generators. When a violent thunderstorm occurs in Scotia where I live at, esp. during Summertime, or when a ice storm occurs during Winter, it knocks out electricity, causing the power to go out.
1 ★Pretty useless, just like their website that looks like it's from the 90s. Might be useful for reporting outages, but you'll go nowhere when it comes to a personal account information/billing. Should have expected national grid to put forth bare minimum effort.
2 ★This app needs a little more help. I can pay my bill and see if there are any outages which is convienient. However, i cannot log in and store my information for quick and effortless payments. It needs just a little more tweaking.
1 ★Doesn't save info. And when paying, It goes through western union speed pay first. So if I log in my bill is still there and hasn't cleared. The confirmation email from this app looks suspicious and is not like the ones I would get from paying through my computer. A legit company letter vs. a few sentences stating western union speed pay has received my payment.
1 ★I have accounts with FPL & a local co-op in FL. Their apps are great. Access to statements, easy log in, bill management & payment, email notifications and more. It is obvious National Grid needs help getting an app that meets customer needs and industry standards. I would be happy to help for a small consultation fee.
1 ★Thought this was 2020 and we lived in a world where you can pay bills online. National grid uses Western Union, which charges you extra. So you either have to send checks or call them up like it's 1949. Alternatively you can give them direct access to your bank account, but they're irresponsible enough to have lost my paperwork in a shuffle and didn't come to my house for four months so I don't exactly trust them to keep their records straight and their hands in my account.
1 ★The only reason to use this app is to look at outage areas or report an outage. You can't access your online account, view your bills, or make a payment with the information that you have on file.
1 ★This is a Westerrn Union Speedpay app Do NOT use to pay National Grid! Call National Grid Directly to make payments!!!
1 ★completely useless. what's the point of having an app with no customer anything? just to report outages? then say it's that. sure, you can pay your bill, but you have to go on the website to view it so might as well just pay it from there! pfft
1 ★Utility Charges so much n One off the worst app. 1st can't create account with id, password. 2nd every time have to enter account number n last name 4 letters. N worst part most of time response is invalid information. Such pain in the a**. Too much bill n shi*** app. Thanks National Grid.
1 ★Horrible App. No way to actually log in to your account. Paying bills is through WesternUnion not your National Grid account. For a company as big as National Grid with so many customers to not have a well made Android app is unacceptable.
1 ★I realize this will sound rude but, this app is pitiful. Yes, you're allowed to pay your bill online, but it won't tell you how much you're supposed to pay. Until this app can tell you what your bill is, don't waste your time.
