You can filter unwanted calls to block calls using any of the 5 blocking modes as follows.
1. Blacklist mode – blocks all numbers in you blacklist. Numbers can be added to the blacklist from contacts, call history, or manually entered.
2. Whitelist mode – blocks all numbers not in your white list. Numbers can be added to the whitelist from contacts, call history, or manually entered.
3. Contacts Only mode – blocks all calls from numbers that are not in your contacts.
4. Block All – Blocks all calls.
5. Accept All – Accept all calls.
Also blocks incoming text messages using the same rules as incoming calls.
Support wildcard matching using the # character. Example: Block all calls from area code 713, add 713-###-#### to your black list and all calls and text messages from area code 713 will be blocked.
You can quickly add a range of phone numbers to the blacklist or whitelist by using wildcard characters. For example, if you want to block all the 800 numbers, you can add 800-###-#### to the blacklist.
The # character is the wildcard, and is treated by Call Blocker as all digits between 0-9. All other non-numeric characters have no effect, so using white spaces or dash signs is allowed but will not impact the matching process.
The following three formats are regarded identical:
1) 800820####
2) 800 820 ####
3) 800-820-####
Country codes should not be used with wildcard match patterns. for example, if you want to block all numbers from area code 213 in the United States, use 213-###-#### and do not use 001-213-###-#### or +1-213-###-#### .

5 ★LG G4 came with the block feature, along with a hardware flaw that resulted in bootloop. Samsung didn't offer this feature and I missed it. This app works just as well though. The phone never rings disrupting when streaming music.
1 ★Does not block the spam telephone numbers that change their number every call. How many calls do I need to get for federal student loans..... that I don't have?! Looks like up to 6 a day and no call blocker app will stop them from harassing me
1 ★This app is bullshit it sends you notifications every time it blocks a text message or a call. Plus, it doesn't even block the actual notification. I am now receiving TWO notifications for the messages I wanted blocked.
1 ★Doesn't actually block calls/texts. I downloaded this app so my ex husbands gf couldn't send me anymore pics of her amazing self. (Disturbing) but I still receive them!
3 ★Easier to use than most apps. I like that! It blocks calls, but due to KitKat restrictions no longer blocks SMS. Some other apps have now taken over the messaging function, you make them default and they start to block messages again. Something to think about. Hate the obtrusive blue icon, would like an option to change or hide it. Finally, would like the option to pick up and drop calls.
3 ★The blacklist is pretty good but it seems once u have those contacts in that u DO NOT WANT 2 C & hsve blocked+ have text mess blocked AND THEN Someone on ur contact calls that u DON'T want in a category and then they automatically get put on the whitelist. It gets blocked or no text. Then u don't have the option once that person is calling u their hung up on or u don't get their mess.
5 ★Since updating my phone to KitKat it's stored blocking span texts. Prior to this is was awesome setting it to allow contacts only, nothing got through except my contacts (obviously!) Hope this gets a bug fix soon.

1 ★Firstly I know how to use this app. That's not the problem, the problem is is I've spent 2+ hours on this n it doesn't work. I wanted only texts n calls from my contacts but it doesn't work... You still get calls from random numbers So I have to know who iwanna block. Even then it still doesn't block texts... You'll get them either way but now the app has a copy too? Useless
2 ★Love the idea. But the text messages keep blasting through even though the text stop feature is checked. Won't even when I've tried checking block-all! I have an LG-G2. Any suggestion?
