The MamaBear app is a companion app and parent monitoring portal for the Grom Social app.PLEASE NOTE: In order to monitor your child's activity on Grom Social only the parent/guardian will need to download the MamaBear app, create a child profile and register the Grom account. The child does not need to download the MamaBear App.
With the MamaBear app, parents can chat privately with family members who are logged into the MamaBear app, as well as monitor and set permissions for their children's activities on the Grom Social app including:
Followers of your child
Who your child follows
Your child's live posts
Comments your child makes
Comments your child receives
Children in the family who have the MamaBear app downloaded on their mobile device can privately message their parent or guardian through the app.
Setting up the MamaBear app can be completed in three steps:
1. A parent installs MamaBear on their smartphone and registers their family's account.
3. Parents log in to their child's Grom Social account in MamaBear to customize permission and monitoring preferences.
2. Other Guardians and Children of the family can download and install the MamaBear app directly from the app store and log in to MamaBear with the primary guardian's password for private messaging capabilities.

1 ★Good app but sometimes it says that my child is in some other area I neverhave heard of when I know for sure where she is. Also it should ping offtowers or satellite , as soon as you loose cell service you loose theability to know where they are. Not working right not getting locationupdates .can't check location settings or social media updates. NEEDS TOWORK WITH DIFFERENT PHONES LIKE ANDROID AND IPHONE ! WORKED GREAT WHEN BOTHHAD ANDROID BUT STINKS NOW CAUSE DONT WORK WITH DIFFERENT PHONES 😡
3 ★I've used this app for over a year now with all 3 of my kids and have lovedit until recently. When I click to read their messages, the app justcrashes. Please fix this issue.
5 ★I love using this app to track my family's location and seeing what mychild texts. I also use it to track my 90 year old uncle's walks around theneighborhood.
1 ★When I first downloaded the app two months ago it worked flawlessly. One month later I stopped getting my child's text updates. I emailed support with no response. Now I get the speeding notifications but the app no longer tells me where. The GPS function is great, but it's the only thing still working reliably in the entire app. I may pay a little more per month for another app but at least I will be able to get what I need.
2 ★Inaccurate most of the time, freezes up. Paid so I didn't have to see the advertising but think it's a rip off. Just today it shows that my daughter is stranded on the side of the highway( because there are no businesses where it shows her to be for the past 3 hours ), when she's actually at work. 1 ★I've had this app for years and its always been great. Yes, a crappy update here and there but it was always fixed. This time is different... For months now the app won't do anything unless I turn on my location. Problem is, I allowed the app permission to access my location! I even double checked the settings. Location is on.
2 ★This app works when it feels like it. It will spam me telling me my kid has arrived at locations I know she isn't at because she is sitting next to me. I can't read her text messages. Only sometimes. When I try to read some of them the app shuts down. No response after SEVERAL attempts to contact developer. Ticked I paid for the 6 months and the app is useless.
1 ★I had installed this year's ago and loved it. I recently reinstalled as my son was going to be going on a vacation without me. All I get is an occasional he's going over the speed limit message. It won't show me where he is. I literally get nothing but lots of pop ups. I deem this app useless at this point.

1 ★I have had this app installed for one day. My son was at school for 2hrs, 43 minutes before the app sent me a message. He has now been home for almost 2 hours and not been notified. Tells me I cannot monitor his text messages with my device. I have an LG phone, he has an iPhone.
1 ★App does not show the location of my kids accurately. They have not been disconnected and I even had then restart the app. It still not report their location correctly. Please fix otherwise this app is junk.
3 ★When this app works, I like it. It is for the most part accurate. I would buy it but it sometimes stops working for days. The video ads are annoying because they just start up and can't be stopped. It's not good when you're somewhere that you shouldn't be playing loud videos.
