A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★The latest app update is trash. Looks like Owlet doesn't care much what users think since we've already given them our money based on all comments and lack or response from owlet. I have all the same complaints. Fix the background audio so it doesn't turn off or force screens to stay on. Move sleep cycles back to history tab and put vitals back under video. Or make a customizable UI so we can decide what what we see based on what is important to us.
2 ★Loved the app until the recent changes. The sleep quality indicators used to be right below the camera feed where it was easier to monitor both. Now you've moved it down so that it's below the sleep cycles, which I don't care to look at until after my baby is already awake. There should be an option on customize the layout.
1 ★The sock is good, but the app makes the entire thing useless. My phone has not alarmed even if the base is going off for months. It use to, but just stopped out of nowhere. And there have been multiple occasions, and today is one of them, that the app won't even completely open. I get to the picture of the owl when you first open the app, but I goes no further than that no matter how long I wait. I've done everything recommended to fix it, twice, with no change. This needs to be fixed.
4 ★The app is fairly easy to use and offers nice additional tips and developmental milestones. We do have a couple issues with notifications on different phones. There will be up to a 5 min delay between when an alert goes off on my phone and when it goes off on my husband's phone. This is the only app that does that. And no amount of reinstalling, phone restarting will fix it.
2 ★Won't stay connected to the internet (camera will start fine and then a few minutes in say not connected). Also today, camera won't connect at all (nothing has changed with my wifi/network/password, I've reinstalled the app, camera says connected). No clue why the app & connection is so inconsistent for a camera & sock that cost me $250. Also, Owlet is specifically called out as the only monitor that won't work with slumberpods! The camera doesn't have the functions needed to work in pouch.
5 ★Does what it says. A little difficult to get onto a very small newborn (6.5lbs), but it will work. And difficult to figure out proper positioning at first. Sometimes alerts when the baby kicks enough for it to shift around. But overall really helps reduce anxiety and ensures baby is breathing which allows us to get much needed sleep.
1 ★Horrible app and product is good when it wants to work. Had a new sensor sent and caused more issues than before. Troubleshooting steps are the same for every issue. You shouldn't have to uninstall and reinstall the app just to get the sock to work. Not pleased and wouldn't recommend with the amount of issues. For the price, nothing seems to work as it should and you'll be told "move base station closer to sock". This is 2023, the connectivity should good enough to cover a normal sized home.
1 ★The old app use to let you change the notification volume and would alert your phone to a sort of siren so if you were in the bathroom showering while the baby was sleeping it would ring. I just need to change the notification sounds for the smart sock 2 and now I can't. Looked through the help center and it only has the help for notifications on the cameras. The old app was better.
3 ★I love the sock and having a camera in one app however, the app does not work well at all. Half the time my camera says it is disconnected even though the light is blue and I just used the camera less than a minute ago. I can't rely on the app to actually work when I need it and often I'm left to watch the sock readings to determine if he's napping or not. This really needs to be resolved. For an expensive camera and sock the application should be more reliable.
1 ★App is garbage. 1) I wish I could add my wife as a separate user, not under the same account. 2) When adjusting the temperature slider, letting go causes both start and end value to change. 3) I have to go into the HISTORY tab to start a new sleep session?? It should detect the sleep session, and it DOES, but doesn't start any timer. Just found that out after there was no session from last night. 4) Sleep session doesn't even display on home screen. Have to edit history to end the sleep session.
3 ★This app does the job, but it glitches often. I have to close out of the app and reopen it at least once every nap my baby takes. Also, it gets stuck on full screen mode when I go to open the app sometimes. I do enjoy the features, though. First, I was able to watch my baby on the camera but minimize the screen so I can do other things on my phone. The fact that it zooms in, not the clearest quality, mind you. Last, being able to speak through the camera on the app.
1 ★I love the idea of having the sock on my baby to monitor her. But the app is complete trash. If I get any sort of notification or alert, it takes forever for the app to load so that I can see what is going on or dismiss the alert. It just doesn't seem to be very quick. To update you. And the camera is constantly disconnecting from our wifi because the app does not support 5G yet.
