The Your Texas Benefits app is for Texans who have applied for or get:
• SNAP food benefits
• TANF cash help
• Health care benefits (including Medicare Savings Program and Medicaid)

Manage and view your cases anytime you want – right from your phone.

Use the app to send us documents we need.

Get alerts, like when it’s time to renew your benefits.

Manage your Lone Star Card.

You also can report changes to your cases and find an office near you.

To get started, set up a Your Texas Benefits account (if you don’t already have one).

Here are features you can access once you set up your account:

View your cases:
• Check the status of your benefits.
• See your benefit amounts.
• Find out if it’s time to renew your benefits.

Manage account settings:
• Change your password.
• Sign up to go paperless and get notices and forms sent to you on the app.

4 ★They app is great but it needs to be more up to date like show everything like dates an ect

1 ★Impersonal, can't get ahold of a real person to talk too, and can't make appointments to see a real person. Files sent are "ghosted" like you never sent them. No details as to why you where denied and no way to automatically dispute your denial.

5 ★It's been helpful but a lil difficult.Because,I wanted them to know a couple of things that wasn't on for me to report. Like I'm still staying with my cousin n I just start back work last month. I couldn't put it down,I don't want know problems n my Bill's have went up .

3 ★This app could be very helpful, but at times it is extremely frustrating. The option to take a photo doesn't keep the whole picture in view that you take, locating information in the app depending on what it is could be better, and documents that need updating can be viewed but not filled out through the app. Also, I was previously locked out of it and tech had to finally fix it bc no one knew what to do with it.

5 ★I am not sure why everybody else is having trouble and doesn't like the app. I will admit I did have a problem with the login a couple of times but it was easily resolved by changing my password. But I think it is very easy to navigate and very basic and t the point. Not a whole bunch of stuff everywhere. I love how you're able to upload files for different reasons all at once. I think this app is awesome. And I always get responses in a timely manner. Also convenient to make changes as well!

1 ★The app will not let me login, i have read and noticed a lot if people are having this issue. Iv been having this issue for a while it's nothing new. It's funny because when I go to make a new password and get to the choose new questions part a system error pops up. I went on the website tried to log in from there and it asked me the new questions so it goes through but still wont let me log in. I think the app needs to be looked into not the individual accounts. Btw yes iv called 211 a lot.

1 ★I don't know if it's a glitch in the security protocols but Everytime I try to sign on it tells me password or username is incorrect. Please answer security questions or reset password. I attempt this, doesn't accept answers even though they are right. Then it locks me out after 3 tries and I have to call 211 and wait on hold for an hour to try and reset password. It works while on phone with tech support, then next time I try to sign in, same thing all over again. I just call now automatically.
