2 ★I previously bought the pro version but didn't renew due to the cost which I thought was rather expensive, so deleted the app. I've since tried to reinstall the app to see if they had any offers on. I downloaded it but it won't let me log in, it just keeps saying "there was an error during registration" please try again. Its a shame as it could be a decent app, its just glitchy and there's plenty of alternatives out there at a cheaper price. The USA version is also alot cheaper than UK version.
4 ★I like the new changes. Couple of issues, when you start or go back to navigating, it has a tendency to zoom out and you have to keep zooming back in to see where you are. Also, after I enter a complete a hike, I often find it asks me to do it again when I get home,
1 ★I have wanted to throw my phone many times using this app (I have a paid membership). I'm tired and just want to finish a route and move on. The app requires so much feedback that is not bypass-able. If you're a social media user, it's likely OK, but if you're not it's just annoying. On the hunt for something better.
3 ★Great for finding locations variety of activities bit garbage when off the grid. I originally got this to use for hikes and offroading. Outside of data range, keeping the maps open worked ok but was unreliable. I paid for a year so I could download maps but accessing them outside of data range simply doesn't work. Finding places to play is worth having the app for but getting you lost in the woods (literally) is what it does best.
3 ★It's good and bad. The reviews of trails can be helpful to help plan & locate the trailhead. I find a lot of trails are wrong. If someone records their hike, but it wasn't really on the trail it can be difficult to navigate. I was under the impression that if I purchased premium I would get offline maps. Well, I misunderstood and didn't realize I had to download the map prior to being out on the trail. Most of the time it won't download because it says the file is too big. Will use free app
2 ★I dont know what has happened recently but the map is so glitchy its unusable, trying to pan around is impossible, everytime you touch the map it auto zooms to such an extreme and I can't figure out rhyme or reason to what area it zooms into. I bought the pro account a couple years ago when it worked, now it's a sunk cost and a waste of money. So disappointing. There are a number of other problems with the map that just make this app a complete dud.
1 ★Ever since the last update the GPS doesn't accurately record where you are going unless you have the app open with the screen on, which is a good way to drain the battery. Otherwise it just draws a straight line from where you were the last time you looked to the new point. Very disappointed with it
1 ★I recently paid for AllTrails Pro, but then that same day I shattered my phone. After getting a new one I re-download AllTrails and logged in, but it no longer shows any of my old data or that I'm Pro anymore. I've reached out to support and have not had any responses since my email almost a week ago. I will probably be moving to a different app for hiking.
3 ★It may be great app. Detailed maps, great tracking but...battery usage. This app is an battery killer. Vicious battery killer. I can run other gps apps like google maps for two days, this one killed my battery after like 5 hours of hiking, doing more harm than good. You can find yourself without navigation and maps at all using it in wilderness. If someone can fix this issue, it will be 5 star app.
1 ★After Update, app is horrible. So glad I read the reviews and put the updated app on my tablet, instead of phone to check it out. I have the Pro Version, which I probably will cancel if changes are not made. I live nears forest and with the old app, I could just go out, push record and hike with a map. Now you haveto do more steps to use record button and there isno map showing. This update had totally failed! Which is so sad.
3 ★Why are some of the dates of my recordings not correct? I have over a dozen recordings that show the activity was done a day before it was actually done? Otherwise it's one of the better hiking apps out there, only if you pay for the pro version which I highly recommend you do.
1 ★Doesn't work for either myself or my partner. Both installed the app, allowed location services but when we enter our town (or any town) into the search bar, nothing happens. When we then select 'Nearby' it just says 'No Trails Found'. Shame because we found the website and were really impressed.
