2 ★I'm only giving the app 2 stars because of the misleading price of the app. The free and plus versions you can't even add a spouse or past memory. And the premium states it's $7.99 per month, but there's no monthly option. You have to pay $100 per year up front. Itsy too expensive, and then you have to pay for the book too... I would have done it if there was a monthly option, not everyone can afford to pay for a whole year at once. Cute app and idea though otherwise.
3 ★I love that you can text in your thoughts and it's nice to have questions prompt you. The interface for selecting multiple photos is not that useful though - it gives you a list of image file names and folders in what appears to be no order, nor can you see the photos. The book also doesn't let you design it and the layouts they propose are amateurish (eg it lets you make a collage but forces you to crop the photos and squeezes them onto a page with another entry). The book is also expensive.
4 ★I'm loving Qeepsake so far. My son is four months old and I've been able to document so many things. I will say that I'm not impressed with the solid white books that we order though. You would think they would have some options to make it a little more colorful, even if that costs more. Also, I've had some trouble with my posts on FB not all showing up in my Qeepsake journal. I contacted customer support and they were very helpful, but apparently if it's in an album it might not show up.
2 ★The app is fine. I love this concept a lot! However, I absolutely cannot suggest this app and service if you're planning on uploading photos and ordering a book. The book is printed very dark. Photos that I've printed through Google and shutterfly just fine, are very very dark in the qeepsake book. I spend a good chunk of money on this book with a year's worth of entries, only to find that I can barely see most of the photos. Waste of money, time and effort.
1 ★Love this app, but the new update doesnt allow you to use grammar check from your phone's keyboard which is incredibly annoying. Please fix! Update: it has been 2 months. Ive paid for a a subscription that I can even use because the app constantly freezes and force closes. So disappointing that I won't be able to capture what I could with my first son. My second sons' book is going to be trash purely because qeepsake won't fix the app and I can't sit on my phone for 6 hours waiting...
5 ★So aside from the fact that the books are very expensive, this app is a neat idea. I did pay for the yearly membership so that I could back date some entries. I struggled keeping up with it all and lost motivation when I realized the cost of the book and how you can't fit more on a page. The membership auto renewed and customer service was wonderfully helpful and helped me switch back to the free plan and even issued a refund. I gave 5 stars for their outstanding customer service.
5 ★Love it!! The free edition is great, but the upgrade is even better & worth the money! A fun & easy way to record memories and pictures. Can't wait to see the book! ***Edit to add** After two years of recording memories, I ordered our book. It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL and full of so many prescious memories! It's so convenient, I was able to capture more then I would have the traditional way. I'm very happy and I'm sure this book will be cherished for many many years.
5 ★I love the daily reminders to record my baby's simple moments. The app asks about big events, like holidays, and simple things, like whether or not my baby likes to snuggle. I can't wait to order my first book! The structure of the app and texting is also very easy to use. It's easy to upload pictures with a question. 10/10 will use this with every kiddo!
5 ★Qeepsake is the best app I've stumbled onto as a parent. I use this app to captures the highs, lows, funny moments, and mundane experiences that makes.my kids who they are. I can add photos, build collages, and can do all of this from the app, website or text messages. I've been using it for two years and my whole family loves it. The weekly summary emails are fantastic too. I can't recommend this enough for anyone who wants a digital way to scrapbook and track childhood.
3 ★I really like the idea of this app. The ability to preview is a great addition! Next I would really like to see more editing freedom. I would like to be able choose colors, themes, etc. I would also like to have more freedom to edit the layout i.e. which entries are full page. Lastly, I would like to be able to add more than one picture per entry. I will probably hold off on ordering in hopes that these changes are coming down the pike.
5 ★We love getting our daily text questions - with the premium upgrade both my husband and I get questions and can see each others responses. We were gifted a lot keepsake journal but we are both terrible at remembering to pull it out and write things in it. Qeepsake not only helps is to keep on top of recording things like that but ensures we don't have forget a lot of the little things that those journals often don't have.
4 ★The app overall is great! Reasonable price, text or app entries, very easy to use. 3 issues I have: 1) I get a lot of Covid questions. I'd like to opt out of these covid questions like you can opt in to holiday questions. Once or twice was fine, but I get these all the time and find them repetative 2) be great to have an album feature to just upload photos with brief captions. And more/different photo layouts 3) be great to switch out a question if it's just not appropriate for our family
