2 ★The application is well made, but the service itself is useless in Istanbul. I tried to hire a taxi in Istanbul many times but its not working. Even if I put increased pre-tip while booking. Only a couple of drivers accepted but then they canaceled.
1 ★Awful app and awful customer service. Billed me twice on more than one occasion and the customer service is not helping. Avoid this app and use Uber instead. It's much better!
1 ★Worst taxi app that I've ever seen for travelers. I've got local sim card, local Turkish bank, everything looks clear. But the app didn't work: sometimes errors, most of the times drivers canceled the orders, sometimes drivers call you back to check the destination point / to bargain price that much higher than in app and after that drivers can drop the order without any explanation. Do not recommend app
1 ★Useless app, no other comments, below my experience: I used the app for 1 week during my staying in Istanbul. When you book a trip it shows the price, then all the drivers at the end of the trip charge you whatever they want with no sense calculations, plus they add some fees, such as one for using a tunnel (which in my opinion the app should show or at least warn you) one even added a random tip for himself, one didn't manage to finish the trip so I had to pay cash. Unbelievable
2 ★First time using the app and already saved 100TL. Regular Taxi rate was higher. Excellent app I would definitely recommend. thank you. Would like to add an update. The first time I used the app I probably was lucky enough to find a cap driver who was able to speak some English. The second time I was not able to find a cap driver who was able to communicate in English, very disappointing. You place a Taxi request, the driver calls you, and here everything just stops. I placed 5 calls and no one was able to communicate in English. You might say that this is not the app problem, yes its, there should be an option to select that you need a driver who can communicate in English, just few words like, where you want to go, and where to wait for me. The other major issue IMO is that no driver complies with the price the app shows, drivers always seem to add some extra. For all that, I will re-rate the app and give it 2 stars instead of 5
1 ★Impossible to add bank card due to a bug in the app. Only cash option is available.
3 ★Overall the app works okay and taxis are super affordable. The drivers are very nice as well. However there often problems that can be inconvenient or stressfull. Drivers accept but don't come. Typing in adresses often doesn't work and you have to use the map to find your destination which can be tricky. Drivers often take longer to arrive then it says initially. There's no chat with translation so it can be hard to communicate especially if you don't speak turkish.
1 ★Well, the app itself isn't that bad, but most of the time the drivers don't know nothing about it. Not all, but most of them. Some problems you'll face: You set your pickup & dropoff location that you're 100% sure of & wait for that ride to receive a call from someone that doesn't know a single word of any other language than Turkish. If somehow by a miracle you're ride reach, you'll be asked to explain the location in turkish or show the directions on you phone… WHY AM I USING THE APP?!?!?!?!?!
5 ★Useful app for commuting in Turkiye's city. Not Available in Cappadocia though.
1 ★This is absolutely useless in Istanbul! I mean first of all the maps have basically less than 10 percent of google maps, also in many many many areas inside Istanbul city، drivers just cancel ur trip requests or not come to you at all! It happened to me 3 times to the point that i really couldn't get in to a taksi using this app, please when you want to have an Uber copy just make sure that it's up to the quality.
1 ★Doesn't register my number and no one picks up the phone at customer service. When it does recognise my number it sends me the code but restarts the app very frustrating
1 ★We couldn't find taxi during vacation in Istanbul. It's not that useful app for city with huge population such as well is Istanbul, cuz taxi drivers couldn't respond on your request on app cuz of cheap price, and they set their own price wich is 3x bigger when they arrived. Public transport is much more better option.
