In der Stadt Graz gibt es dafür die Möglichkeit, mit speziell ausgebildeten OrdnungswächterInnen zu telefonieren und so ständig mit einer Person in Kontakt zu sein, die notfalls auch sofort Hilfe organisiert.
Und so läuft das Ganze ab: Sie rufen die Heimweg-App auf und lesen ab, wo genau Ihr Standort ist. Dann drücken Sie auf „Jetzt anrufen!“ und werden ab diesem Zeitpunkt von speziell ausgebildeten OrdnungswächterInnen telefonisch nach Hause begleitet. Diese Helfer am Telefon schicken Ihnen, wenn erforderlich, auch sofort Hilfe – dazu haben Sie ja am Beginn des Gespräches Ihren Standort bekannt gegeben.
Mit diesem Heimwegtelefon wurde in der Stadt Graz erstmalig in Österreich eine Einrichtung geschaffen, die – vorerst zu den Fahrzeiten der Nightline – all jenen, die ein „ungutes“ Gefühl haben, wenn sie in der Dunkelheit unterwegs sind, eine telefonische Begleitung ermöglicht.
