Download CPI Security APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.alarm.alarmmobile.android.cpi-v5.6.1-ApkClean.apk)

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

2 ★Troubles with arming system with ap, will not go through
1 ★Never works...if u want to use it to watch camera it's worthless...maybe 25% of time the last 3 years it's worked. Even after they tried several times to fix it it never works. Hear a noise and try to pull up the camera...always says disconnected. Pos, don't use cpi if u want to use it for the live video.

4 ★I like the system the way it is set up the only set back or disappointment is I wish they would have tell me that the doorbell is better than the camera quality but that told after I agreed with camera. I bought a Ring doorbell and it detects quicker than camera. Now if i get doorbell from cpi I have to buy. Nevertheless I believe cpi is the way to go.
1 ★The app has never worked properly since I first began service with CPI. I can literally stand in front of my front door and manually lock it, yet the app shows it as unlocked. Also, I never get notified when someone rings my doorbell and most of the time it doesn't even record video. I'm supposed to be able to communicate via my cell with visitors, but since it doesn't notify me how can I. I've been home numerous times and visitors ring the doorbell, which is ugly plastic, and not once was I notified on my cell. I've issued complaints about this, as well as other problems with CPI service. This is a worthless app and company!
1 ★It rarely connects to cameras in a timely manner. Troubleshooting works temporarily.
3 ★The "Pause/Resume Recording Schedules" shows all of the camera rules you've created. Why is there no "all off" and "all on" switch? I have 21 rules created. Whenever I visit the business, I have to turn them all off. Otherwise, the cameras are recording multiple video clips and I'm getting text messages like crazy. Presently, I have to manually turn off all 21 rules ONE AT A TIME. This is ridiculous! This is evidence that the software engineers don't test the features of this app before releasing it to the public. Anyone who's ever used this app would immediately notice the omission of this feature. On the "Live" video tab, there's no provision to rearrange the order of the camera views. You should be able to customize the order of camera panes via "drag and drop". The app only allows you to suspend "Push" notifications. All of my notifications are "text" notifications. You can't suspend text notifications using the app. This means I have to suspend them on my computer before I visit the business. Again, there's no provision for "all off" and "all on".
1 ★Would not recommend. The security system works but the cameras do not. Doorbell camera never worked. Traded it out for outside camera and that now won't record events. The inside camera will not load 90% of the time. I've had to call CPI over 10 times and had 7 service apts and the cameras still do not work all in the first year. Won't update the system unless you call and won't let you know when there is an update. Now stuck with a system for 5 years that doesn't work and they won't let you out
2 ★More times than not, the app will not open when I want to disarm the house. Comes up with an error or can't connect. Leaving the house I don't normally have a problem. It seems to work better when I am not on WiFi. I am using an LG V20 Android phone. Please fix this. I need to be able to get in the house quickly and waiting for an unresponsive app is unacceptable.
1 ★Once you cancel active motoring they cancel all acces to the app which means that ypu can no longer see your camera or remotely unlock the doors. In other words the equipment becomes useless. After 15 years this is how we're treated after spending mo ey in the equipment and upgrades. DO NOT USE CPI. Get your own monitoring through the free stuff out there. Or at least pay less.
3 ★When it comes to security for our home, we don't want anything to be compromised. Not even the app which allows us to view areas of our property on demand. While this CPI Security app works, it's not always consistent. Some of the areas being viewed will "time out" rather quickly or not load all together. A couple of times, the cameras did not detect motion, therefore, nothing was recorded. An Amazon deliverer drove his van up to my home and carried a huge box...Nothing was recorded! 3 stars
1 ★Unable to use the doorbell function because your app is too slow and I can't even SEE the doorbell camera on the Web version. CPI does not work with Google Home, the indoor cameras do not do what the salesman claimed such as audio with video or night vision. Unable to set-up automation settings with On/Off times for security like ADT (with far superior products). Way too much lag time with every. single. thing and after several reports of service issues I still have not received a follow-up call. The security system is only as good as ones ability to use it and I am not getting what I paid for.
