3 ★Frustrating to Use. The commercial screens don't always work. A "sorry" notice appears, then it won't continue and instead it goes back to the home screen when touched , which you then have to restart the show & then replays the missed commercial. This happens much too often. 2 or 3 times per 1 hour show. It would be much better if it would register the commercial has already been watched, or go back to the choice of 3 minutes of ads or 30 sec interactive ad screen without having to restart
1 ★Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate this Lifetime app! Fast forward function doesn't work right. You fast forward and it actually jumps back 10 minutes and as you try to fast forward again, it continuously jumps back. Half the time it works. Way too many long commercial breaks. I don't take issue with repeat commercials since I immediately put them on mute anyway and look down at my phone, which I'm actually doing right now. It doesnt always remember my place in the show. Updated to add one more hate.
3 ★I love the Lifetime app but the one thing that I hate about it is that it has too many ads. Sometimes it will play the same ad over and over agian. Other times the ad plays and there is like 4 or 5 ads thats too many. Just yesterday the ad didn't play and there was a black screen for 10-20 seconds. But other than that the app is really good.
2 ★Very glitchy, crashes frequently. Shows are good, but not worth watching when I get repeat ads, sometimes for over ten minutes, lots of black screens, crashes and freezing. App doesn't remember where you left off and often opens completely different shows from the one you click on. At this point, it's a terrible app for a decent network. I detest Hulu, and even they do a better job on the app.
1 ★It gets one star just because it has good movies. It's missing 4 stars because the ads are absolutely ridiculous. I understand that it's a free app... Kinda.. I mean, I sign in with my cable provider that I pay for. However, there are 4-7 ads every 10 minutes. If you choose the 30 second interactive ad, which is a great and not so great option, you will get get shorter ads but even more frequently than every 10 minutes which is already OVERKILL. DO BETTER.
3 ★I've been using lifetime to watch dance moms, at first it was good, the ad breaks were a bit long but I figured I was watching it all for free so I couldn't complain. All the sudden halfway through season 4 the ad breaks got off the schedule and now they're too early which every episode an ad break come up in the middle of one of the performances. These ad breaks are often 5 or 6 ads and its very frustrating, please put the ads in the spot they're supposed to go :/
1 ★I'm okay with it. It's just that is has got to be the most glitchy TV show and movie app I have ever seen. A part of an episode I was watching started glitching out with the sound, and the ads don't play sometimes so you've just wasted five minutes looking at a black screen. Edit: I changed it to 1 star because it deleted my progress in Dance Moms. I didn't even switch devices or delete the app, and it deleted my progress.
2 ★It needs improvement, and the commercials are absolutely ridiculous. They appear every few minutes, and half the time you're watching the exact same commercial all in a row. It's too much. I have several TV apps on my phone so I'm used to commercials, but this app is too much. It takes the joy out of watching your favorite show. P.S. i have my satellite account through Direct TV, so I'm not sure if that is the problem or if it's Lifetime app overall. Just adding it for more information.
2 ★It forces you to watch 3 minutes of the same ads 6 times per 40 minute episode. If you pause a show and switch devices, it makes you watch the "you just opened a show" ads, plus the last ad break before you paused. The 30 second interactive ads are broken and will play over and over without letting you move on, forcing you to watch the 3 minutes. Then sometimes you watch 6-9 minutes of ads, and then the app crashes and says "something went wrong," making you start over. Terrible user experience.
1 ★Literally works about 25% of the time. Some shows are inaccessible because the app crashes completely if you click on it. At least once per show it will crash randomly for no reason, then it's 50/50 if you'll be able to get back to that episode. The most recent season of MAFS only displays 1 episode but there have obviously been more. And you CAN watch them - if you start at the beginning and scroll through to the end of each episode it will automatically go to the next one. SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!
1 ★Don't download. Doesn't work effectively and will store data on your phone you can't delete! I have wiped data and uninstalled more times then I can count. All prior memory of what I watched, still on the app when downloading again. And, no way to find in the back files to delete. Don't download unless you want something stuck on your phone or device forever. It also runs ads like crazy.... Withoit any context. Again, don't download!
2 ★too many crashes... when you're watching a show or movie , out of no where (at least 10 minutes into the show or movie) , it will rewind 5 seconds then continue to play for 5 seconds and then it will fast forward an entire 15 seconds ! you can miss a lot in 15 seconds ! and the buffering... don't get me started... the ads are very short which I dont mind (no more than 3 ads). PLEASE FIX THE BUGS !
