3 ★Could be better. Commercials tend to go on and on for 5-10 minutes hopefully its a glitch. If I have to stop it for one second, the commercials are right back on, even if there was one just before turning it off for that sec. Also consistently errors either at launch every single time or after its been running for a little while. Something about unable to authenticate or similar. Lots of glitches to me.
5 ★Excellent... It would be absolutely perfect if it gave an option to go ad free. It would be great just to watch a program all the way through without being constantly annoyed by ads. Now a days I make sure I never buy a product that insists on bulldogging or forces me to watch an ad before I can just watch a show without being interrupted
3 ★Overall a good app. There is only one issue that prevents me from giving 5 stars. After showing the first segment the app just goes blank. It's a toss up if any commercials play. If any commercials play after the first segment, the episode runs smoothly, if not it just goes blank. When trying to reload the episode, it still will be blank. Also the same issue happens when come back later to continue viewing, it will still just be blank.
1 ★Awful. Gives option for interactive or 3 min ads. If I select the interactive ad, I get stuck in the ad then have to back out of the show and then reenter the show, and have to watch an ad again and get stuck again! Best part, the ads don't even show video 90% of the time. It will just be a black screen with audio. Sometimes the ad and show you are attempting to watch merge into one so you hear the ad audio playing over the video of the show. Never experienced a streaming service this horrible.
2 ★Has the shows I like but doesn't stream via Chromecast worth a lick! It is constantly pausing to buffer and rewinds several seconds at a time intermittently throughout the entire show. I don't have the same issues when streaming other show through other apps (like ID Channel App/ shows for example). If I watch a show that is 45 minutes long I easily have to plan on a good 20 minutes or more to get through the whole thing due to the aforementioned issues.
3 ★I have no problem with this app in my phone. On the fire stick.. it is horrible. On the fire stick, try he app lags, the shows buffer. If it. Offers too long, it force stops and goes right back to my main home screen. Its frustrating. Because I have redo everything I did and then figure out what episode I was watching and fast forward to the part I was looking at because it doesnt show my resume episode. How does it buffer with wifi (firestick) and not with LTE (phone) 🤔🤔
3 ★Really I shouldn't complain its free content that I absolutely love. That being said, the ads are overwhelming at times. The ad break comes up it can play up to 8 repeated ads in a row, other times the ad is nothing but a black screen, and the ads themselves are incredibly repetitive. I'll see the same handful of ads over and over and over and over again, I have them memorized, honestly. My suggestion is a wider range of ads not the same few, and less per ad break. App also suddenly STOPS.
3 ★If the shows didnt have so many commercials it would be better. But the main problem that I have is the volume difference between the commercials and the show. I'm constantly having to turn the volume up and down, ESPECIALLY if I'm wearing headphones because the comercials are SOO much louder than the show. It's very annoying and seems like it could be fixed easily by the app but hasn't been for a long time.
4 ★I really like a lot of the shows. Functionality needs improvement. I'm glad to see a new continue watching section. But *** the closed captioning *** often doesn't work or stops working after a commercial break or if the show get paused. This is tremendously limiting. It also causes me to see more commercials because I have to rewind often. (3/22)
1 ★Hey guys. Just got the app so I could finish watching a show I started watching on cable. I tried to fast forward to where I left off and it went to a commercial multiple times. And kept starting back at the beginning. And happened multiple times. And took a long time to get where I needed to be. Now that I'm caught up it's not much better. Commercials too often, lots of reboots and have to confirm I want to continue after every commercial. Definitely needs some work. Not the best!
3 ★Love watching A&E. Great shows that are about real life, not actors portraying a role. My biggest complaint is their ad says commercial free. They are not. Now they are giving you the option of continuing with the current 3 minute break or seeing a 30 second interactive ad. After the third time this option appeared, I decided to try the new 30 second option. All I got was a blank screen. I finally restarted and yes, it does pick up right where you left off. Same blank screen. Please fix it!
2 ★It started out great. I linked to my cable provider went on to continue my next episode, and now it won't play anything. I even deleted the app, re-download it and tried again. I keep getting the same error message. Also, there are so many ads it's a bit hard to watch a show, because every 7-12 mins, you have another commercial with the same advertising over and over. I'm a huge fan of A&E, but this is a little disappointing.
