A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Beautiful lights and I love what you can do with the app when it works. There should be no need for any of the requested permissions, though. Why do you need location permissions in order to connect to a device on the same wireless network? Why do you need camera and storage permissions at all? Edit: ...we're back to almost never working. Constant connection errors for the past several months. This is absolutely pathetic given the price we paid.
3 ★I have a 30 panel with rhythm expansion. The panels themselves are great, and what I was looking for to complement my music sets, albeit fairly expensive for what the product actually is (glorified rbg leds in display panels). The app is horrible, and so are the connectivity capabilities of the device. Rarely get the devices to sync with mobile app, and never able to get them setup with google home either, the official nanoleaf remote burns through batteries too, which doesn't help.
1 ★If I would have known how horribly made the app was, I would not have invested $300 in these lights. Be prepared for endless crashes, panels not being detected, and no firmware changes or stability updates in sight. This app is an abomination and makes the huge investment on what could be an awesome product feel like a giant con. This is after 8 months of ownership, so the problem certainly isn't user inexperience. When the lights work, its really awesome! But now I rarely have them running.
1 ★This review is for the app, i think. The panels themselves are really cool. They are very bright but I'm sure that will be fixed once I can connect to the controller. I truly want this to work. I find the concept to be fascinating. I have tried multiple attempts to reset (hard and soft) the panels, along with 2 phones and I cannot connect the panels to my phones. I will update my review once I am to connect to the panels.
1 ★The app continuously locks up on my Pixel 6 Pro while pairing. Pairing the remote no longer appears to work with my shapes either. Controlling them through the app is clunky. A little less than a year into ownership, I'm sitting here with over $2000 worth of Nanoleaf products and a serious case of buyers remorse. At one point I had 3 of the remotes. One of them, the battery door broke twice, the second isn't pairing with my devices anymore, and the third got bricked by the app crashing in the middle of a firmware update. Best of all, they've discontinued the remote, and they seemingly don't offer any suggestions about the replacing the level of control it provided.
1 ★Unusable garbage The nanoleaf panels connected fine to the app but with constant crashes and unresponsiveness from the control panel to change anything on the lights it is absolutely Unusable. I'm shocked by how well the lights are designed but how poorly the app is. I literally can't do anything to the lights from the app. I completely reset everything, poof everything looks good. Go to change anything on the lights, absolutely no response. What a waste of space on my phone.
2 ★Why is this app so difficult? I research a good color pallet or even an individual color, input the hex code...and the app changes it. REPEATEDLY. Whether as a color pallet or as a basic color it just changes it. Even if I try to enter it as an RGB code, NOPE! Half the time it just backs out as I try to change from one field to another, much less click on the slider. That it just ignores. So much potential, do many bugs... FOR A TEN YEAR OLD CELEBRATION?
2 ★Setup was.. kinda histrionic. I hit Enter while typing my WiFi-pass, and it proceeded through ~10 steps *which didn't actually do anything* because I hadn't finished my password. There was no "Oh crud, oops, cancel!" button, even the Back key didn't work as expected, I had to bomb out of that entire page of setup and come back. Also, considering you give helpful ideas for everything else, maybe suggest touching the phone to the lights? That got the saturated 2.4G to work in my downtown building.
1 ★Reviewing as someone with only the essentials line: The lights sometimes take up to 10 seconds to respond to changes. You can't save scenes or set schedules. All you can do is add lights and change their color individually (so one at a time). Lights sometimes wont turn off or back on even with direct power. Praying for an update to bring this up to par with lifx and fix the bugs BC I actually love the depth amd variety of the light colors. Disappointed.
2 ★Great when working. My Aurora panels still work with Alexa but I cannot get them to resync with the app. About to set up several canvas sets but trying to get these working first. Update: FINALLY working with the app but it took hard resets and lost all the scenes the kids and I had created. That was a lot of wprk just gone! Cloudsync was on but when I attempted to restore I ended up with NO scenes. Very fristrating and does not make me feel confident about the 4 Canvas sets.
1 ★Horrible app. slow interface, not very intuitive The schedule doesn't work. Would not recommend nanoleaf at all to anyone, after 8 months of use, i wish I could rate it lower considering how bad the app is and things don't sync with the cloud. So much wrong with this app. Nothing works as it should. app fails the product 100%. Favorites dont work, can't see them in schedule, schedule doesn't work. Clicks dont work. You would need a 10 page guide to figure out the interface. Keeps getting worst
1 ★Update 2/22 , added a few more products and all of them are just as frustrating to deal with. Software is terrible on android ios and desktop. The hardware is certainly the coolest thing out for ambient lights. - Hands down one of the buggies and most frustrating apps I have ever used. Never shows info for lights correctly and 75% of the time it refuses to connect to a device at all. Firmware update also does not work. How can the lights be so expensive and the software such garbage?
