Completely redesigned for 2014, iControlAV5 gives you complete control of your compatible Pioneer AV Receiver and Blu-ray Disc player using your Android.(*A note regarding AV Receiver compatibility: iControlAV5 works with compatible AV receivers. Not only can you control the basic features of your AV receiver like volume, switching inputs, select the listening mode and power on and off. iControlAV5 turns your Android device into an advanced remote control, giving full control (i.e. SOUND EXPLORER) of your new AV receiver, and in a fun and intuitive way.
*Set the network standby --> "ON" beforehand, you can turn ON your AV receiver with iControlAV5.

2 ★No longer working on current Android versions. Can't download on a new phone satw the dice isn't compatible. New iPhone works fine
5 ★Get an old phone with Android 7 or Android 5. Only there is working. But Internet Radio s no longer working. Just plug your PC or laptop with cable and you will hear Internet Radios. For Pioneer AV and another products: there no more firmwares. Spotify is working ok.

1 ★Am I supposed to throw away an expensive receiver because the app doesn't work. Won't buy anything Pioneer.
1 ★Had this app on my old Huawei p smart 2019 phone and it worked well. Now I've had to get a new phone, a galaxy a55, 5g and the app is not compatible with this device. Such a shame. Hopefully they will give the app a upgrade or suggest an alternative app.
1 ★Upgraded to new phone only to discover that Pioneer no longer support the app. Disgusting. I now have a flagship Pioneer receiver and SACD player that I can longer controller without standing up because they are not in 'line of sight'
