This app for Android Phone and Tablet devices will give you an unprecedented level of command and control over your 2014 or later model year network ready Denon AV Receivers (due to hardware differences, older models are not supported with this app. Please check the model compatibility list below; if your model is not listed, please download our previous “Denon Remote App”). A wide portfolio of useful features, nicely designed graphics and easy to operate user interface do make the app a useful tool to control your AVR.Control the basic functions of your Denon product with power, volume, input and settings. Have direct access to Quick Select and Surround Modes.
Network browsing is either done within the Denon AVR Remote app or depending on model by selecting HEOS network as input which opens the HEOS app automatically.
With the Denon AVR Remote, your Android device just became an integral part of your home entertainment experience.

1 ★SOLUTION! I found a workaround to access the settings. Find out what your AVR ip address is, type it into your browser and the same interface that comes up in the app will be displayed in the browser. GOOD LUCK! pretty lazy on Denon's part to not fix their app for months on end.

2 ★Please Please...grant us the option to increase/decrease volume incrementally with up/down controls next to slider. Using a slider increases the likelihood of an unintentional volume spike. Ecobee just did this for their app/thermostat control and it's wonderful. Yes, app is slow, but I could live with everything else if the simple volume controls were more appropriate. Please. Pretty please.

1 ★Worst app I have on my phone but I don't know of an alternative to control my Denon receivers remotely. Loads very slowly and often doesn't recognize my receivers so I have to reboot them. Also when working it is slow to switch between receivers. Really needs to be improved IMO.
