There are 125 Taichi Cards, of poetry and diagram. The diagram comes from the Five elements in five colors. The poetry has been written in an ancient but straightforward style, according to the observed cycles of the said elements in Nature.This collection of poetry oracle has come from Bagua Temple of my hometown, Changhua, Taiwan. The poet didn’t leave his name. I translated and published the collection of poetry in 2007, as “Poetry in Divination”. My father, Chou-ming Yang, has written earlier, in 1998, “The Sun, the Moon, and the Trigrams". He analyses and integrates hexagrams in “I Ching” and trigrams in “Poetry in Divination” and comes up with a new interpretation of the modern day change.Taichi Card mimic the traditional style of praying and drawing a poem to read a foreseeable lot.
