1 ★Horrible. USELESS. There is a reason why the world rates this app at 2 out of 5. Now I cannot log in to the app. The app connects via bluetooth to my phone, but I can't do anything because I can't log on. USELESS. The "reset password" doesn't work because it tells me "...something went wrong" and will not continue to the next step after entering my email. USELESS
1 ★NONFUNCTIONAL. Brand new 2019 S Hardtop. Brand new Galaxy S9+ phone. I could register, but for what? Can't connect remote services to lock, unlock, flash lights or sound horn. Mileage doesn't update. Any other so-called functions are apparently unavailable. I can't even view my profile. It thinks a Dec 24 entry in my Google calendar is going to happen tomorrow. I can't remember when I last saw such stupid software.
1 ★Totally disappointed with this app. Picked up a 2018 dealer demo about 2 weeks ago. Just recently tried to use the app on my Samsung and it won't let me register the car. Tells me that this vehicle can not be registered to this account. We reset the car info and took it the dealer and they said they couldn't do anything. The car shows its registered to me in their dealer system but still can't add it to the phone. Frustrating. Pretty worthless... Anyone know how to get support for this app??? Give it a -1 if I could
1 ★On my Samsung phone I only get a bright white screen when the app opens. I happen to have an old iPhone, out of curiosity I installed this app on the iphone AND it works perfectly! Basically, BMW is Apple friendly but not Android. Hopefully that will change and this app will be improved. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Rest assured I wont even be rating it on the Apple app store until the android version is improved.
1 ★I love the new to me Mini but this app is putting a sour spin on my feeling for the car. No matter what I do, it keeps telling me that it can't register my vehicle with the valid VIN numbers that I've entered over and over again. The worst thing is all the effort I'm putting in and from what I understand the app doesn't really do anything with Android.
2 ★Disappointed in this app on Android. switched from Bmw to Mini and had the bmw connected app. Thought because the developer was the same the app crossover would be similar in my Samsung s9 but i was so wrong! While the remote, lights, locking/unlocking and horn service works i can't play Pandora or Spotify through the Android version. my gf has an iPhone and the app works as described. Guess Mini does not think it drivers use Android phones?
1 ★After 6 months of no spotify support they finally update the app but doesnt work all the time. Heads up display doesnt work with spotify at all, the Connected app does not show gas or avg mpg anymore? I'll say this again - This is absurd and unprofessional after dishing $40k for a car in 2018. This is definitely the last Mini i ever purchase.
3 ★It works......but I'm giving it 3 stars because my friend has the exact year/model car, but he gets more information on his iPhone then I do on Android. The App works have tried a couple of features lock/unlock/address on my Pixel 3. Come on MINI, show us some equal love here. Not sure what compaines facination is with making everything work with Apple but Not properly with Android. MINI isn't the only company guilty of this, but it is annoying. Aside from that, it works fine.
1 ★App does not work on my galaxy s10 plus. I tried signing in. it doesn't recognize my username and password. when i select forgot password, the link given to reset password directs me to a page that cannot be found. when I tried to create an account it says one already exists with my user name.....I just got my car a few days ago so I know for sure what my username and password are. Bummer.
1 ★The app just updated last week - awesome! I updated the software in the car today - again, awesome. And yet, it's still just a gas gauge. Not even a new & improved gas gauge! No ventilate, no locking of doors, no finding the car....nothing wireless! For anyone who says it works, explain what that means. Yes, the gas gauge works, but shouldn't we expect more? Does your app show something other than a gas gauge - mine doesn't. Giving it 5 stars & saying it works is meaningless. With navigation, you're better off using your phone's maps to avoid the cable. I was REALLY hoping for a tiny improvement, but, once again, I was let down. Why even bother updating the gas gauge app? You know, you would have been more respectable & honest to your customers if you had just called the app Mini Gas Gauge app. Calling it connected is a slap in our faces and borders on deceit. If you're thinking about buying a mini, make sure to get the one called Ford.
1 ★Completely useless. The car has Bluetooth, yet I have to plug in a usb cable to be able to connect it. Even when I connect the cable, it shows me the fuel level, mpg and thats it. I can see that in the dash of the car, why would I use the app to see that. Add some useful functionality please, this is ridiculous.
1 ★will not accept your password even though it is the correct one. Now it locked me out for trying to many times. When you click the reset password link it takes you to a Web address that is non existent according to Google Pretty embarrassing since when you call their team they don't know either
