Get the best out of your rides by transforming your smartphone into a motorcycle tool using the BMW Motorrad Connected app.Use our app to build dream routes out of waypoints or import routes as a GPX file. The impressions and data you gather on the way will automatically be saved under your rides.
Simply use Bluetooth to connect with your motorcycle—which is equipped with Connectivity and TFT—and establish a connection to your communication system, if present. No matter whether you select winding or direct routes, verbal announcements and arrow indications that are easily visible in the TFT ensure that our app and your motorcycle will safely get you to your destination. Thanks to operation on the handlebars, you not only have navigation, telephony and music right at hand, but you also get an overview of the most important riding or vehicle data at the same time.

• The app is part of BMW Motorrad Connectivity and can only be used actively in combination with vehicles with a TFT display. The connection between smartphone, vehicle and communication system, if present, is established wirelessly via Bluetooth. Operation is possible using the multicontroller on the handlebars. To output music, telephony and navigation information, the use of the BMW Motorrad communication system is recommended.
• A mobile Internet connection is necessary to receive traffic data. This can result in costs in accordance with the contract between the customer and provider (such as roaming charges).
• Be aware that the functionality of your smartphone and the connection to the vehicle also depends on national requirements and conditions, and therefore cannot be guaranteed by BMW Motorrad at any time.
• The BMW Motorrad Connected app is displayed in the language configured in the smartphone. Please note that not all languages are supported.
• Continuous use of GPS localization in the background may lead to a reduced battery life.

Q: What is an APK File?

2 ★I consider this an incomplete product: cannot manage maps; (can download but you can't delete them if you need save some space); can't follow recorded track; sometimes downloading maps just stucks in loading circle animation; some maps are outdated; stats and recorded tracks cannot be saved/exported to gdrive or Dropbox or some other backup; no support to import gpx; if I install it on a new phone drive time starts at zero.
3 ★Since new update when you open app it says "download resources" but when you press ok the app closes. Renders this app useless please fix. Up it to 3 stars. Very impressed with how quickly they fixed the problem...disappointed it wiped all of my previous rides and data out. Having to start over. Will edit rating when I do my first ride since update.
4 ★It's decent. The core concepts work, although the details can be difficult to manage. It took me a while to figure out to set a location as a favorite (drop a pin with a long press and the click the small, gray star). BMW's response solved my issue with naming favorites.
3 ★I had it working well. And then there was an update, since then I cannot find my music in the play list It was there before and cannot figure out how to get it back. I did switch memory switch to external because my music is on a usb card but still cant find it. Liked it before though.
1 ★Would love to use it, but app is stuck at "preparring map download". Other than the fact that this is the only reason I'd use it, its also pretty poorly designed and despite being connected via Bluetooth to the bike, it kept bringing me to the connect via Bluetooth screen the first number of times I tried to use it.
3 ★I am really enjoying the app with my F750GS. I have witnessed one big update so far that improved the overall feeling of the app and added some nice functionality, first but not only the possibility to export gpx files. It has the potential to easily reach 4+ star and overall a great motorbike app if would include: - better tools to create and manage routes (import gpx files, multiple destinations directions, edit route record) - more details on service items (cost, service shop, editable notes) and records - music controls integration for other apps (spotify, pandora, web radio etc...) - I personally found relatively useless the weather app since I check the weather on other apps anyway. I see potential if implementing some of the following functions: notification for imminent rain or rain along the route, forecast according to route planning and dates. These observation are based on the wide variety of apps I need to use in order to plan my trips; implementing these function would generate a great easy to use app for motorcycling, the perfect companion for any enthusiast.
3 ★Works great..... This app works as advertised. BUT. The connection of phone to bike and bike to Helmet is a different thing. I have noticed if I have the helmet (Sena30k) connect first. Then the phone with app on. It works great. There is a problem with my connection from phone to BT if I have my phone in my pants pocket and I put my hand any where close to it. It will start to cut out the music but as long as I don't do that everything works great.
2 ★Good start, but lacking, needs the following things: Google map integration, multiple point route creation, landscape mode for whole app, landscape mode does not work on maps, audio player integration. Is a good start and will be great if actually developed and supported further than the current release.
5 ★Since the last update the app crashes as soon as I open it. I have tried clearing data and cache. I've also tried deleting and reinstalling app. Also tried using app on another Android phone with same results. I am using an lg phone with Android 6.0. Everything worked great before update. Please help. Also your email does not work to contact developer
5 ★Amazing, makes life so much easier and saves money from buying expensive GPS units. 13k miles later; app has improved a lot. Keeps valuable data and ride statistics. Traffic routing has improved as if it's getting updates from Waze. Wish there was a way to get address input while riding.
1 ★Hit or miss... sometimes it opens, sometimes it doesnt and does not capture all your trips nor connects to your bike for Speed Limit and Map information. My suggestion is to get rid of the bike information if it cannot reliably display current info and get rid of the maps and create functionality with Google Maps. Make android and apple car play but for your bikes.
1 ★Not even hit or miss. App navigation after or before first instruction locks up on the nav. Back to the RAM mount and google maps. I dont even dare buy a 900.00 BMW gps to find out it's not any good either. Love the bike though.
