2 ★Ridiculous pop up every 14 days to download LG ThinQ app. It's like a Salesman showing up and knocking on your door every two weeks trying to sell you a product you don't need nor want after you repeatedly told them you are not interested. LG should not try to annoy consumers into an unwanted app.
3 ★Hello, I appreciate this app as it is helping me since a few months because my LG smart t.v. remote broke down. I would like to suggest you that if, you can please have another way of connecting the tv and smartphone for e.g. if the tv is connected to the phone's hotspot, then the remote should be accessible. And the other suggestion, if the mobile is connect via a USB cable to the tv, the connected mobile should be able to control the tv.
2 ★The volume control is inconviniently located at the next page of the interface. LG Thinq is a better remote control. It's all in one page. The number buttons are not significant since I'm only using the internet. Flaw of the LG Thinq is after the TV was turned off overnight, LG Thinq cannot turn on the TV. I'm guessing this LG TV Plus should be downloaded as well for the LG Thinq to work best. Such an intrusive app on my cellphone's notification bar. It's the 2020, guys! Pull yourself together!
5 ★I tried other apps multiple times and this one is by far the best, it worked perfectly no connection problems and all button functions worked like they were supposed to, I'm so glad I found this app and wish I had found it sooner, I just found out this TV is a smart tv lol but I'm glad this worked for me. 1 ★The app is temperamental. Sometimes will play the video you want and sometimes it won't. The list of files is a joke. You can't change the view and you can't sort the files the way you want. Everything shows up in big thumbnails and if you have a series with number of EPs then you can't see what's what cos file names displayed are way too short in that view. I own a high end OLED TV from LG and i love it, but this app is a disgrace. LG, please fix it.
1 ★I get kickoff the internet like every 3days its telling me to reconnect to the internet or my devices are not working. Right now I can't connect my TV to the wifi or my phone. I don't know what is going on and the app keeps telling me to find another tv searching. I don't know what is going on now because nothing is working when it comes to my TV so I'm watching everything from my tablet or phone. This app sucks and I keep uninstalling it and reinstalling to make the app work
2 ★Used to work great with a direct Eth connection from my router to the TV. For some reason the app changed and now has really is choppy video. I don't want my TV on WiFi.... I use a direct connection. LG ..what gives.. why is did this app change for the worse? Why require WiFi? Change it back!
4 ★Looks good. As for the remote control, it would be a lot more attractive and make more sense if turning the TV on and controlling it were enabled via a mobile network ot some other WiFi network (e.g. as airconditioners with WiFi modules can be remotely controlled) instead of both devices having to be connected to the same WiFi network. That would, e.g., enable me help my mom from a remote location when she gets a problem with channels, sound etc.
2 ★Ok when first installed . But an hour or so later the app freezes on the turn on tv menu so you cant progress onto the next stage, (menu selectction) nothing works and also you dont always get the app images total blank screen no cursor, once your on on some apps you have to uninstall and start process again .
3 ★I have had issues with it. I would open the app and it would connect then disconnect from my TV. And it would not work again until I remove it from the phones Ram and start it over.
4 ★Operating with LG Smart OLED TV, 4k, 65" with C9 processor. I can see there are some bad reviews on here but, I tried at least 6 other remote TV apps before finding this one which is by far the best. The only time I needed to use a password was on first connection to the TV as verification to my Android phone, after that the app connected well on most occasions. There are times when connection to the TV is difficult but, once connected works very well with good functionality.
1 ★The app keeps losing connection with my tv, I have to constantly uninstall and install it almost everyday, today ai have spent an hour trying to get it to work and it still isnt working. I just want to watch a movie but I cant because this app doesn't work right.
