Description
[Caution]This application is compatible only with LG Smart TVs which are released in 2011. Application("LG TV Remote") for smart TV Models released in 2012(not listed in supported models) has been uploaded.
When a smart phone and LG TV are connected via router, after a simple pairing process, LG TV may be controlled conveniently with the smart phone similar to a regular or a Magic Motion remote controller.

- To get started, connect your LG TV through wired/wireless router to TV LAN port.
- Go to Home Dash Board [SETUP] -> [NETWORK] -> Configure settings in [Network Setting].

3 ★I have got 47lw5500t model but no pairing key pop up occurred.... the only solution is to switch to HMDI mode (even if you do not have any HDMI device connected) and search again from Android device. It worked perfectly for me.
1 ★I've got 4 TV's at my house, all LV55xx series that are suported by this program/app. All Ethernet cabled and fully working and updated. Since i have 9 Android devices @ home, i've tried this version and i cant pair none of the TV's!!! Sometimes the tv show the pair windows with no numbers, other times nothing happens!! Tried with Gnex, Asus TF101, X3, Gtab2, GS2, and others... all the same result... The funny thing is, that the iPhone version works fine with all of them... Really LG you could do better... Since you also engineer/produce Android devices.
1 ★Is LG full of idiots never improving? This app is not complicated social media app. It's just remote control. I don't understand why it takes so long just to make it work.
3 ★This app can seriously use a makeover. Everything works but would like to have a setting that stops all haptic feedback
4 ★I fixed mine (tho no response from LG). The app force closed on startup every time after update. Go to Settings/Applications/Manage Applications and select the app. Hit the "Clear data" button. After that my app worked. This should happen with the app update, or at least be in comments. Original> New update deserves zero since it won't even open. Before the "upgrade", I used this more than any other app. If its due to not supporting the HTC EVO, a heads up in the "Whats New" section would have been nice.
1 ★Does not recognise lg 42" smart TV although on the list and also on the 2011 version. Crap and waste of time!!!
4 ★Synchs great with the OEM motion remote dongle. Wish the volume and channel input elements are not a roller with inertia, but rather just plain buttons. Its really easy to overshoot channels.
4 ★At first I thought that this update didn't fix the issues with jellybean (no pairing key was shown), but after updating the TV (42LW6500-TA) to v05.00.07 the app is now working on my Nexus 7. Yay! But the problem now is that the TV update removed the EPG button from the home screen, meaning that if you want to access the EPG from either this app or the magic motion remote you now have to scroll to the right of the widget menus ... Grrr! Adding an EPG button to this app would make things easier.
4 ★Pretty good remote with low lag. Only complaint is lack of obvious feature - the ability to turn off the TV! Instead, the only way seems to be to set the timer (lowest value is 10 minutes though).
1 ★Seriously, it's not that hard to include an option to specify the IP address of the TV. Having to bridge the wired network to the wifi one creates unnecessary security issues. The failure to permit specifying an IP address makes this app useless.

1 ★Dunno why but the first version of this app works just fine with my tv but but but..... This one won't even find my TV can't get past first step. So the first one great this one lame.
