5 ★I have only been using this a few days and i have earned 172.50 its so easy to use. And simple to understand and navigate. I couldnt ask for a better app. Its givin me financial support. An im in control of times day and work. I love it thanks so much for this app. Its a dream A++.This is the first app. I will download on any phone i ever have. Thanks again handy.
2 ★It should be updated so that it allows you to filter jobs with in so many miles of a "home spot" that we can set. I dont wanna see jobs 30+ miles away for <$40 it doesnt make any sense. I waste time scrolling for closer jobs then miss out on ones I could have had. All the notications are super annoying, again showing me stuff I cant sensibly complete for the pay rate vs distance. I should be able to filter out all of this, not just the types of jobs.
1 ★When I read "sometimes you might run out of time. If you need more time, please communicate that to the customer and allow them to request additional time; only customers can add time to a job in progress by contacting the customer experience team. If your customer is having trouble adding time, simply ask them to confirm the extra time via chat or text message, and the Handy team will be able to verify." I gave up on this app. way too many steps to ask for more time. App needs improvement....
1 ★My experience with the app started out great. I started cleaning jobs completing them at a good rate and good pay then the jobs became scarce not too many to choose from and when I relied on them to be my main source of income I started having to take many menial jobs. that didn't amount to anything and they started throwing jobs on my plate that are way far out of my range. And I couldn't accept but still got charged fee for not going . And a lot more charges were occurred for various reasons.
1 ★This app is worthless. Yeah it let's you claim jobs but as far as getting paid forget about it. The app doesn't let you add your banking information. Then there's no phone number to call for support. The only way to try to get support is by email which is an even bigger waste of time because all they can do is send you the same information that you can find on the site under the help tab word for word. I wouldn't recommend this app for anybody and I don't ever plan on using it again!!!
3 ★For the most part the company is pretty good. My 2 biggest complaints are, 1- The work orders are so vague sometimes, no one takes them because you have no clue what the job actually is and absolutely no way to find out unless you accept the job and contact the customer. Which can end up with you not wanting the job at all and then your hit with a cancelation fee. 2 - No way to contact handy if there's an emergency on the job. You email them and hear back in 2-3 days
1 ★In the short amount of time I worked for this app , which was 2 weeks . Got charged a 50 dallor fee from my pay . For something that never happened . Saying I missed a day of work , when I had no work on the 7th . Looked through my schedule to triple check it . Then they don't pay me for a full days work ,that I actually had work . Tried to contact the company about this several times . But they gave zero way of talking to someone . Other then email someone in new York . That never reply back .
4 ★App is simple to use. A variety of different jobs available. Would be better is the job description was more detailed. Pays pretty good and on time. Doesn't seem balanced that pros get cancelation fees but if the customer cancels last minute, there is no pay for the pro that is assigned to that job. Customer service is automated instead of having a human to talk to. Which requires some patience and your best common since when it comes down to "On The Job Support". But they do get back to you.
2 ★There is only problem and a major one at that! There is no distances or specific area(s) or zip codes in which you are willing to work within the settings menu. For instance, travel 80 miles to mow and trim a lawn for $40? No thanks. It is because of this, that you can't set your availability accurately and can cause harm to your keep rate. Which is how you are offered jobs to begin with.
2 ★Terrible app I mean if you don't have no job or nothing it's cool. But they will charge you a fee for everything. They charged me a fee for a no show from over a month ago and the customer wasn't even home so I couldn't do the job. They don't confirm with you, you just get the fee. Then they stopped emailing me because I kept disputing the fees that were incorrect. That's why majority of the time the customer cancels and rather deal with the Individual outside of the app. Not my problem though
2 ★A great concept but not a lot of support although they clearly let you know that the support channel is email, I find that when you are in need of real time assistance, you are on your own and often left on your own and they take fees and sometimes, no compensation for your time so, be warned
1 ★This company and app sucks! Nothing but problems from the app. No support, the only way you can contact is through email there is no phone support for Pros. It took over 24hrs to get a response and they didn't even answer my question. Good thing it wasn't an emergency! Totally ridiculous oh yeah still haven't been paid for work I completed and if you don't show up to the next job they charge you $50. Yes 50 BUCK!! PLEASE BEWARE
