Die Busch-free@home® Next App bietet 4 Bereiche zwischen denen, über die untere Bedienleiste, hin und her gewechselt werden kann:
HOME
Hier erhalten Sie einen schnellen Überblick darüber, was Zuhause gerade los ist:
- Die „Zustands“-Kacheln zeigen Ihnen an, wie viele Lichter brennen, wie viele Rollläden geöffnet sind und ob Fenster geöffnet sind. Über einen kurzen Tab auf eine Kachel kann z.B. das Licht direkt ausgeschaltet werden.
- Das „Wetter“ Fenster zeigt Ihnen die Wetterdaten Ihrer free@home Wetterstation.
- Das Fenster „Nächste Schaltzeiten“ zeigt die zwei Funktionen an, die als nächstes per automatisiertem Zeitprogramm geschaltet werden. Über den Schieber kann das Ereignis einmalig ausgesetzt werden. Über einen Tab auf die Schaltzeitenübersicht werden alle Schaltereignisse der nächsten 24 Stunden angezeigt.
- Die „Favoriten“ sind eine Sammlung individuell ausgewählter Funktionen. Die Auswahl erfolgt über das Setzen des „Stern“- Symbols. Über einen Tab auf das kleine blaue Symbol oben rechts in der Favoriten-Kachel, kann die Funktion direkt ausgeführt werden. Über einen Tab auf die Hauptfläche der Kachel wird die Funktion in der Vollbildansicht aufgerufen, welche noch mehr Einstellungsmöglichkeiten bietet.
Über den „Bearbeiten“- Button unten auf der Home Seite, kann die Reihenfolge der Funktionsbereiche geändert werden.
STEUERUNG
Hier können Sie auf alle Geräte Ihrer free@home Installation zugreifen. Wahlweise sortiert nach Funktion oder nach Installationsort (die Umschaltung erfolgt über den Umschalter oben auf der Seite).
AUTOMATISIERUNG
Hier werden alle von Ihnen erstellten automatisierten Abläufe, wie Timer, Szenen und Aktionen, aufgeführt.
Timer
Vorhandene Zeitprogramme können aktiviert/deaktiviert werden (und zukünftig neue Zeitprogramme erstellt werden.).
Szenen
Szenen können durch einen Tab auf das blaue Symbol gestartet werden. Über einen Tab auf die Hauptfläche der Kachel wird die Szene in der Vollbildansicht aufgerufen.
Aktionen
Aktionen können aktiviert/deaktiviert und editiert werden. In Verbindung mit einem myBUSCH-JAEGER Remotezugang können Geofencing Aktionen erstellt werden, mit denen Aktionen basierend auf dem Betreten oder Verlassen eines vorher konfigurierten Ortes ausgelöst werden können.
Hierbei werden die Daten direkt über den Ende-zu-Ende verschlüsselten Kanal an den verbundenen System Access Point gesendet und können daher nicht von Busch-Jaeger ausgewertet werden.

Hier werden alle Systemmitteilungen gespeichert.
WIDGET
Mit dem Widget sehen Sie immer den aktuellen Schaltzustand ihrer Favoriten, auch wenn diese über eine andere App oder direkt per Schalter bedient werden. Mit dem Widget können Sie die Favoriten natürlich auch direkt schalten.
myBUSCH-JAEGER
Hier können Sie Ihr free@home System und Ihr Smartphone mit dem my.BUSCH-JAEGER Portal verbinden.
GEO-LOCATION
Starten Sie Aktionen basierend auf Ihrem aktuellen Standort. Schalten Sie z. B. das Licht ein, wenn Sie nach Hause kommen.

2 ★UI ist langsam und nicht intuitiv und nutzerfreundlich. Es fühlt sich an wie als würde ich win98 im jahr 2024 benutzen würde. Wegen einer Türklingelanlages SAP ausgetauscht wurde musste ich mein Dashboard zurücksetzen und neu paaren. Es crashed so bald ich den QR Code scanner benutzen will in dem es einfriert. Schlecht programmiert.
4 ★Die Funktion der App ist gut. Das UI der neuen Version ist ein Rückschritt im Vergleich zu den vorherigen Versionen. Warum habt ihr die blaue Menüleiste entfernt? Das Scrolling fühlt sich nach wie vor unnatürlich an. Bitte an den Default des Betriebssystems anpassen. Adaptive Icons fehlen ebenfalls.
4 ★Functionality is great. Font size and contrast across the app need improvement. Most text is difficult to read even on phones which has a decent screen size such as S22+
2 ★Obtuse and unintuitive. It's difficult to navigate and the available options are unclear and mostly hidden in deep submenus.
1 ★All I want is to remote control my devices using Google Home. The myBUSH-JAEGER connection that is apparently needed for this just doesn't work and errors with 500 status codes. I have tried using the app for automation and it is wonky af. The state of IoT and UX is a joke. I have finally managed to connect it with Google Home by doing some weird voodoo magic. Only lights can be controlled. Blinds and heating systems are read only and look broken.

4 ★Thank you very much for this nice app. It works perfectly with my Busch-Jäger hardware and remote access. The app has many information, but still makes easy control possible. The main issue is that I am not able to make any new timer actions as there is no button that allows me to do so. I can control all actuators, but not able to add as a user any automation, which really undermines the word smart home. I hope you can help me solve this issue so I can utilize all the options which I bough.
2 ★hat wirklich nur die wichtigsten Features. Alles was den Alltag angenehm machen würde fehlt (wetterabhängig timer (de-) aktivieren, Elemente von Hauseweiter Übersicht ausschließen, zeit abhängige Shortcuts, Winter/Sommer Umschaltung, Elemente in Übersicht ausblenden, eigene Icons für Actions, Rolläden min/max setzten, eigene push notifications...) Außerdem zu langsam beim Start (connect/sync doch im Hintergrund?!).
4 ★Have the same issue a Joe___ cannot connect to the google home app, what is mandatory for all users in the house Next to that, the app works great.
3 ★Unfortunately I could not get it to work with my Google Home. Not sure if the problem is on Googles side or its the free@home app that's giving me a hard time. Besides this problem, the app is 10 times better than the old one!
