4 ★Great app! Learning some letters now, and I think I'm doing pretty good! Only problem is, I don't know why I'm learning it first, why there are 2 alphabets, or the 2 alphabets meaning in making a word!! Please, I want to know why I'm learning this! Also, please add a writing practice with no guidelines to test memory. I have enjoyed this app, but I hope to get to words and sentences soon! 5 ★it's a really good app that helps with me with memorising hiragana and katakana through the quizzes and practices.
5 ★So far I have used the free version of renshuu and have loved it! The plethora of content to help learn Japanese is really wonderful. Sometimes, I also use it on my PC too (and make good use of my tablet to draw the kanji). Any questions or issues I have had with the app have been promptly fixed or answered, which is amazing as there are only two people running the app. Finally, there are extra features which can be bought (progress graphs) but this is not forced - such a refreshing change.
5 ★I love this app. It has cute characters, and it's helping me learn kanji and new words. It has some words in the dictionary that the other online dictionary I use doesn't. My Japanese class hasn't taught me about using a different pitch when saying words, so I'm so grateful I read about it from this app, and now I can start paying more attention to the different ways words are pronounced. The minigames are fun to play. I love how there are pictures in the dictionary to help remember a word.
5 ★Blown away!! This app is really extensive and I'm amazed it's free. So much to learn, it's amazing. They have gamification elements such as collecting items after reviewing words and you can level up your avatar. There is a dictionary that is just spot on and you can find any word. Really handy. You can learn kanji, hiragana and katakana, learn to write it and listen to it being spoken. Can't wait to continue with more :)
5 ★I really enjoyed studying with this app! especially the cute illustration motivated me to learn more than what I think I would have! but I have to admit the interface is a bit hard to navigate at the start. I want to add, it would be nice if we can practice handwriting without a guide, also would appreciate if it could be opened offline, as currently it's like some kind of web app and require internet connection at all times.
