A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★A very thorough collection of NYT recipes amassed over decades. I've been able to find recipes for virtually any food I've wanted to experiment with, including dishes from a wide range of cultures and regions. NYT Cooking is my "go to" when I want an extensively vetted recipe, including shared notes from others who've made/attempted the dish, and 1-5 star ratings--for which I can't recall anything less than a 4. Yes, it's accessible only by subscription, but it is *well* worth the price!
5 ★Absolutely nothing better out there. The search function is fantastic. Adding to your shopping cart and editing out what you already have is so easy. My recipe box is overflowing with future meals. Printing hard copies is effortless. And the photography makes everything look so good. Love this app. This is a subscriber based app but worth every penny.
4 ★The recipes are useful, and it's one of the better recipe apps available for Android. However, much like some other NYT subscriptions, it is very difficult to cancel. You are required to call Customer Service or have a long online chat, and they will try to talk you out of it. It reminds me of trying to cancel Comcast. (After a long chat with a customer service rep, NYTC kept me on by cutting my subscription price in half for a year. Pretty sweet deal.)
5 ★Exceptional content that you'd expect from Sam Sifton and team. App is pretty good; only improvement I'd make would be perhaps a way to check items off the grocery list (or the ability to export a list with check able items to Google Keep or a To-Do app) and better resizing when being used on a tablet or Chromebook (the header images are just a little too big.)
5 ★I use this app almost daily to both save and organize recipes that my family loves and to find new, interesting, and super yummy things to make. There are options for any occasion you can think of. Highly recommend this to anyone who needs to feed people every day and anyone looking to challenge themselves with something more challenging from time to time.
5 ★I wasn't sure I wanted to pay for the subscription to NY times cooking, but after a trial and getting the weekly emails about what to cook, I decided I can't live without it. My go-to recipes were getting pretty bland after a year of eating my own cooking. This ap is easy to use, organizes my recipes for me, puts recently viewed recipes in an easy to find location, and I'm loving it.
1 ★I used my free trial and paid for a year subscription. However, I am unable to access my subscription. The app won't open. I signed in with the only email I use and the email I paid with ( Google account), and nothing. I contacted NYT Cooking customer service and was told they don't show me having a subscription and to contact Google. I contacted Google and was given some troubleshooting steps (restart phone, force server lookup and sync now), and it still won't work. I'd like a full refund.
4 ★I love so many things about this app. It is easy to use, ready to read, keeps your screen from sleeping while the recipe is open (no more messy fingers on your phone). However, the iOS version of this app is so much better for the sole reason that when you search, it searches your recipes first at the top and puts the general search results below that.
4 ★Good recipes, easy to use, and you can save all the recipes you like so you can always go back to them. I just wish there was a way to edit/add thoughts and ideas to the saved recipes, so that I can customize any of them to my liking, and it would only be saved to my page so only I would see the edit, but other than that its awesome !
5 ★I love NYT recipes and have learned so much about food and cooking, looking at them for the past 4-5 years. I especially enjoy comments/suggestions from other cooks (except the occasional snarky ones, that is 😑). i prefer viewing emails w recipes on my laptop, rather than on my phone, so i usually "share" the recipes to my email address. Im not a fan of the phone app. I print out fave tecipes and keep in a binder. Do you still offer annual subscriptions? pls. let me know.
4 ★Why is that there is a button for marking if you've cooked something, but no way to search for what you've cooked?! What's the point? The desktop version allows you to filter your search by 200 different factors, including obscure things like "only recipes that require shucking," but not to filter by things you've previously cooked. Who cooks like this? Do I really need find "paleo Indonesian breakfast recipes for two that require emulsifying and are editor's picks" but not recipes I've cooked?
5 ★The only cooking guidance I've ever consistently used!!! App is flawless! Such fun and relevant recipes and with a mix of ingredients I'll always have and ones I've been needing to work in. Has saved me during the quarantine!! Love the option of just searching by the protein or ingredient and it returning great recipes but not hundreds...just enough for me to search and find the right one. Totally worth it!!!
