5 ★I love this app! The only things I wish it had were showing you when you are walking, jogging, or running and how many calories your burn during the dog walks too! Might be cool if you could pause and there be a blue button like the pee and poop ones for play time then you resume and continue walking. Thanks creators!!!
1 ★This app said we walked 26 miles in 55 minutes.... We actually walked 2 miles. So something is wrong with the gps tracker. It kept saying we went back and forth over and over along our route. So our line of travel looked like a crazy persons line of travel... No it isn't my phone because I was simultaneously using Google maps and it worked just fine...
2 ★The app used to be so much better and worked perfectly, until over the last couple of weeks the app seems to go to sleep in the background. I've got the app battery optimisations set to manual not automatic, I've got the app "locked" in the recent apps screen, but it still seems to sleep, or not record info from the GPS in my phone. I've checked by installing another walk mapping app, and run at the same time as tractive. The other app records the full walk, whereas tractive doesn't. Please fix!
3 ★It's a good app would give it a 5 if you're able to edit the pee and poop drops from mistakenly pressing them and also if you can edit the end time for instance if you start a dog walk and forget to stop it go back into the app and edit the end time to accurately reflect the actual walk. And if you can add pictures from your camera roll that would be an awesome instead of having to take live pictures. Would also be great if the notes that are written can also be shared through the shareable link.
4 ★Generous 4, the timer is good to see how long I have been out on a walk but the distanced walked is not near accurate. Walking close to 2.5 miles on my night walk and it says 0.36 miles. If this was fixed it would be a 5 star app all day long. Plenty of other apps on here but this one looked the most reliable, maybe have to try others as a few comments on here are saying the same problem.
3 ★Just missing a couple things to make this perfect for me... I find the poop/pee icons way too similar and small; if they were at least different colours, it would make it easier to differentiate on a map. Also, I really want a want to see all poops/pees from all walks on a single map to see any patterns of where my dog may prefer to go on walks.
2 ★Still have ongoing issues with the GPS. Sometimes it just stops tracking all together. One of the worst apps I've used regarding gps accuracy. Totally agree with other reviews in that if its going to track so poorly that you should atleast introduce an option to edit the route map yourself to make it more accurate.
1 ★I've had to delete my last two walks after the app just started going haywire and putting my walk as in progress even after it was ended. The one walk was showing at over a day in duration and today's walk was showing 4km 1hr20 but then changed to 9km and 27min.... and the walk in progress keeps popping up everytime I open the app even after ending the walk. I'll be uninstalling this app
1 ★Sorry, but was fantastic. I have epilepsy and when out walking the dog, hubby could monitor us. Now it just crashes I'm on a Samsung Galaxy 10+5G with 1.2.3 version 89. (as advertised and no further updates available0!!) The fact that I could originally be traced with my seizure awareness dog was great. I went into status epleticus and into a coma more than 10 times and the app saved my life literally. Now I can't walk the dog alone. Sort it out please. 😟🥺☹
5 ★Loved the app to walk with my Dog and keep track of our walks, but since I switched to my new phone the app stops mapping the movement and won't start mapping again until I turn my phone on and enter the app. Not sure if my phone or the app but every other app works fine, when mapping.. Edit: Problem has been resolved, my phone was automatically turning off the app as it was using a lot of power. Switched it to manual and fixed the issue where it would stop mapping. :)
2 ★I used to use this all the time, however now there are issues with the GPS...I thought it was just a one off when it said I walked 20,000 miles in under an hour, but now it happens every single time. I really enjoyed this app, but it's becoming pointless.
2 ★Bad experience with the GPS. Sometimes it will draw lines back and forth on the map, which displays more miles than you actually walked. Not good for tracking how many miles were actually walked.
