Description
Grey Star QuestYou are Grey Star. From the core of a raging storm you appeared - a human child, ship-wrecked and orphaned, a gift of hope to the exiled Shianti sorcerers. Ever since that fateful night they have raised you as one of their own, teaching you the mysteries of their magic in preparation for an epic quest.
The time has now come. You must find the legendary Moonstone and with its power crush the evil Wytch-king of Shadaki. For only you can save the land of your birth from the cruel grip of his empire. But be warned! Ahead lies a terrifying journey into the unknown where survival or death confronts you with every turn of the page.
This app will include the 4 books covering "The World of Lone Wolf" collection. Right now only the first book, "Grey Star the Wizard", is correctly playable; the other 3 books will follow shortly.
This application makes use of the internet edition of the books, as collected, edited, corrected and re-published at www.projectaon.org
Use the options menu to gain access to the map, to your inventory and to all the options for the game; if you enjoy the game, please support it by donating through the in-game interface.
Create and save more profiles, select you favorite Magical powers, carefully choose your way exploring the world of Sommerlund, play and replay the game for free for as long as you like; if you find any bugs, you can send me a report in real-time through the game-interface.

3 ★Would give more, but unlike Lone Wolf adventure, this app resets your progress when you restart the phone, when you clean the cache and even when you just don't play for a day or so. What is lost is as far as I know all the bookmarks and your progress. You go straight back to the start of the first book. Because of this and a busy life, I still haven't finished the first book. Can you fix that issue, please?
4 ★Can't say how happy I am to see the series rendered like this. Played these books when they first came out and it was such an adventure for a kid. Cant give much of a review becase i have not started yet but for other users make sure to download the main db in options for the profile section to be active. There is a message when you view the license but if flashes by so fast. Thank you for bringing this to the app store.
4 ★Excellent game play. Options for different profiles for different play style (i.e. power selection and character stats). Automatic combat tracking is a major boon for this series, but still simulating the original combat system. Some bugs, mostly relating to interacting with your backpack and picking items up. Contains all the original art and story. Biggest frustration was really related to source material and sudden deaths and return to the beginning. I think this can be cut down on with the option use of bookmarks for a small cash donation, but I have not tried them yet, so just guessing they work as save points. I think I would have liked the notes section to auto update more - it would be fun to look back and see more information on the path you have followed. The map and route tracker was a very nice touch. Currently only contains the first book of four in this series. Very much looking forward to the next part.
5 ★I originally gave this game a 1-star review because the combat skill attribute was totally broken, making the books almost impossible to win. Within a single day of reaching out to the developers, it was fixed. This is THE definitive way to enjoy these masterpieces granted to us by the greatest Kai Supreme Master, Joe Dever. Amazing job.
5 ★Very impressed! The Lone Wolf Saga app Is wonderful and now to have a similar experience as Grey Star is a bonus! Not too much more to say other than keep up the great work! This is a perfect app for those that enjoy interactive fiction and desire to either keep their own books from wear and tear or have a hard time finding them physically. Kudos!

The "Grey Star Quest" is a wonderful addition to Joe Dever's "millennium gift" that was bestowed upon the enduring legacy of previous, current and future generations of "Lone Wolf" fans who have enjoyed this universe as a wonderful childhood memory. 1 ★Unresponsive and will not let me read the story or play the game! No matter what button I press, it simply won't let me past the title screen. Very disappointing for an app.
5 ★Much like the main Lone Wolf app from this publisher, an excellently created app, well organised and extremely user friendly. Donation made as with the other app as the work the creator has put in is excellent.
5 ★Love Grey Star, sometimes more than Lone Wolf. Joe Dever is a great writer and this app is a great way to read his books. Check out the Lone Wolf app by the same people.
