How to install Amcrest Smart Home APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Amcrest Smart Home APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.mm.android.amcrestsmarthome-v3.13.1-ApkClean.apk)

1 ★I have had my amcrest camera for a couple weeks and am very disappointed in, not the camera, but the software. Extremely unreliable, loses connection constantly or simply won't hook up at all. And that in spite of being positioned about 20 feet from the router. The video quality is very good if it would only work. DON'T RELY ON THIS TO MONITOR YOUR CHILD! Don't buy this product.
1 ★Good device terrible app. Try to add a device good luck! After install, uninstall, reinstalling to try and get it to login then you have to go thought multiple resets and failing to connect. Ironic part is the device is in pairing and mobile is connected to its wifi pair but stupid app needs to disconnect and connect to internet to try and then pair and add the device. After a half hour of random failures and retries with multiple devices it happened to work. Should be so much simpler.
2 ★Does not work with the 841b camera. Great cameras I've had for years! No point having the doorbell camera on a different app. Add support asap or I will be returning
3 ★It took much longer than needed to set up the Amcrest Doorbell and i had to keep resetting it until it connected to your servers... I suggest please allow the doorbell to be setup without having to contact your servers first then afterwards if needed to connect to your servers (aka offline install). Also there's a bug in the app that keeps signing my phone out of the app and i have to sign back in every few days. Other than that the camera looks great compared to Amazon Ring.
1 ★It is disappointing to have to constantly re-enter password every time I open the app. Also, I don't know what format the video downloads to, but they won't play or view on my Samsung Note 8.
3 ★App is in desperate need of location services for motion alerts! I don't need my phone blowing up with motion alerts when im home. I have been using Amcrest cameras and NVR for several years now and decided to give this little smart camera a try with an SD card installed. For the money it's a great little camera but the app should have an option to only enable notifications when you're not home. Would recommend to everyone if this feature was added.
1 ★Time to move on to Ring or something else. This camera does not work for more than a couple months without having to be reset. Now I cannot log in to the app. I get the message , "unknown condition".
2 ★It would've gotten 5* but I've had it installed for only a few months and it used to work perfectly and now it only sends notifications of motion activity but doesn't record ever! The live view still works otherwise I would have given 1* instead of 2* like I did.
1 ★I cannot get a live view even after updating my doorbell transformer for a 16V 30VA. Some time ago it worked 50% of the time - now or stopped completely. Also am not getting anything recorded on the SD card in the doorbell (not this apps fault I assume but still...)
4 ★Had some similar issue with initial pairing as others started. Instructions could be a bit better in that respect. Once I finished the initial pairing process I was easily able to add my door bell camera to TinyCam Pro to manage all of my cameras on one place.
2 ★The cameras are great but the app is terrible. Fix the app to go along with your great product!!
2 ★Notifications don't have any sound when screen locked. The notification is shown for the doorbell is motion, but no sound. When screen is unlocked, sound works for doorbell and motion. Sound - Notification sounds is on Smart home app has notifications turned on
