Description

This app allows you to create a central and easy-to-use control system on your smartphone or tablet. The user-friendly interface gives you access to all the functions of the Niko Home Control installation, such as lighting, roll-down shutters and ventilation.

What do I need?

Your Niko Home Control installation needs to contain a wireless smart hub (552-00001) or connected controller (550-00003) and has to be connected to the internet. The installation needs to be running Niko Home Control II programming software 2.5.1 (or more recent). If your installation contains a controller (550-00001) or was programmed with an older version of the Niko Home Control programming software, please use the previous version of the Niko Home Control app.

• Receive preconfigured notifications from your installation.
• Access control is not supported for iPhone 7 or older. If you want to continue using access control, contact Niko customer services to reactivate it in the Niko Home Control II app.

1 ★App is stuck in "select profile", but there is nothing to select. Everytime I open the app I get in this menu

2 ★Every time I open the Niko it takes multiple seconds "loading installation". Happens on same local network and on internet (out of home).

5 ★Was advised to use this app instead of the yellow one. I haven't experienced any of the issues I had there. Great work by Niko to provide an easy way to control all the cool functions

3 ★It works, yes. But it could be made to work much better, and more importantly, faster! Because it has to connect over the Internet all the way to Belgium, st-niklaas. Just to dim the lights. A local server on my lan would solve a lot of latency issues. And why do I need to be connected to the Internet just to be able to switch my lights on or off....

2 ★Temperature adjustment needs to be updated. Keys are unresponsive and requires multiple touches to be adjusted. In general more customization needed for system. Routines, conditions and time schedules should also appear in app and not only in programming software. Current values should also be visible in the APP from devices such as mini PIR, analog sensors etc. This would be very helpful while tuning the system where a specific value needs to activate a certain event.

1 ★I do like the new version of the app. But I keep receiving ghost calls in the middle of the night, and that is far than amusing. And I can't complain to anyone about this! The fact that Niko only talks to the installers and not to the end users is super ridiculous.

4 ★I whish there was a way to hide buttons, i'm forced to create 2 basic actions to control the same light from 2 buttons (dimming with one button and a regular dim control) and I hate there is now essentially 2 lights showing in the app that really is only light. also whish there was a forum to ask questions for a non-proffesional customer. (DIY) don't get why i can't just output the status of a sensor in the app without needing a physical light or something connected to it. Yes you can send a notification but i just want to set an icon when a certain sensor has a certain value.
