Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★(Edit)-I've downloaded this again after about 4 months, to see if it's any better, but no. I know a random persons idea is usually ignored, but I still can't see the point of using the App-- An extra 10-30 settings please? address bar options for bottom or top of the screen? auto hide address bar is essential to me. Scroll against the top of the screen to refresh a page? Full screen mode that hides notification and home bar? At this point I'd choose the browser with the most options of them all.
5 ★Just switched to this from Focus. Crazy fast, and outstanding UX. Love the bottom nav URL bar. Other than fixing bugs, I would urge the product team for this browser to keep the simplicity and not add any distracting and bloated features. You got it just right. Between this and Lockwise over the past month, the Mozilla team is crushing it.
5 ★Nightly is a game changer with expanded add-on support! I was so frustrated that no browser allowed me to swipe forward with Android 10 gestures enabled. Nightly allowed me to install an add-on to get that functionality restored. With no issues, I installed one more add-on to bypass AMP pages, so now I have the perfect mobile browsing experience. Even though Nightly is for testers, and potentially unstable, it's worth it!
3 ★This review is for an early build of preview, which is missing some planned features. From a purely technical standpoint, this is a very good browser! It's the fastest one I've used on my phone, and tends not to break anything in the page. It took a bit to get used to it, but I really do like the address bar being on the bottom now. Lots of little complaints, mainly related to tabs. The button to close tabs is too small. Pressing back takes me to the tab list, instead of going back a page. etc
5 ★I love this browser! It's as if they let me design the browser myself. First, I love that all of the action items are at the bottom of the screen so that you can access them easily with your thumb. Second, dark theme. Yes! Third, I actually like the new tab and collections layout. Fourth, it's much faster and more responsive than the previous Firefox browser. Finally, I really appreciate the built-in privacy features that come already turned on. This is the browser I've been waiting for!
5 ★This is by far the most well-designed browser I've used on android. I love that the address bar is on the bottom: it makes use on larger phones much more comfortable. It is extremely easy to swap between private and regular browsing, and the distinction is very obvious. It also natively detects your system theme. The overall layout is thoughtful. The animations are smooth and appealing. Sites load quickly and correctly. I'm really impressed.
4 ★It's decently faster, feels familiar, I think I will grow to love the collections (seems reminiscent of folders of bookmarks) and I love the new design. I am not a fan of the address bar not staying in one spot, I miss the tabs preview, and doesn't yet feel like a complete experience from what I saw. Firefox is my favorite browser for both desktop and mobile, so hopefully by release they get these few minor gripes out of the way.
3 ★It's awesome redesign with the issues of a brand new layout. It works great, looks clean, and many things are better than before. However, when you want to share a link to another device (and you're on another app) the share through Firefox button just opens the link in the app. This makes the process of sending a tab to another device so much longer (6 taps and loading of the website instead of 3). It would be amazing if we could go back to the previous sharing off links through 3rd party apps.
5 ★Hands down the best Android browsing experience. Smooth as silk and I love, love, love that the address bar and tab buttons are on the bottom and set to always show. The slide up menu is super slick too. Only complaint is addons seem to not be baked in at the moment. Keep it up Mozilla! You guys are on the right track to making browsing on mobile what it should be.
4 ★It's a great starting point, definitely faster. Would like to see a thorough dark mode with the actual webpages in dark mode like in Samsung's browser. Also would like a quicker way to access desktop bookmarks or at least an easier way to convert them to Collections. I hope for all the desktop security options to make the jump, as well as the inevitable extensions. Appreciate the address bar at the bottom! Also, a pin/code/biometric to access private browsing would be great
4 ★I really, really like this app, and would definitely recommend it to anyone going for a simple, minimalistic, or aesthetic look, but the only problem I have is for switching between Desktop and Mobile view. I have to close the tab and reopen it to switch back to mobile. It's only irritating because I write online and I have to copy & paste my work in case I won't save.
5 ★So far, Firefox Preview has been very fast and responsive. The collection system has saved me a lot of time typing or scrolling through my bookmarks to find what I am looking for. It doesn't feel sluggish like the current Firefox browser. Pages load without hesitancy. At first, I hated the address bar being at the bottom, but since my recent upgrade to a Galaxy S10, the bottom address bar makes it easier to access on a larger screen. So far, I have no complaints.
