* Opción Hoy, es la primera y única Agenda Cultural de Medellín y de Antioquia. Ha trabajado por acercar la ciudad a la cultura, al deporte y a la recreación, a través de esta agenda que durante cuatro lustros ha programado la gente con todas las actividades que aquí tienen lugar.* Es también la guía turística que ha sido de vital importancia en la construcción de cultura turística y ciudadana.
* Fue creada en agosto de1993. Inicialmente, se empezó publicando mes a mes la guía OPCION HOY, para presentar a los antioqueños y turistas, toda la programación cultural, deportiva y recreativa de la ciudad y el departamento Luego, con el paso del tiempo y dada la trayectoria, desarrollamos otra serie de publicaciones propias.
* En 1999 el GAE le otorgó a OPCIÓN HOY el premio como la Mejor Revista de Medellín.
* En el 2003 la Alcaldía de Medellín condecoró la revista con la Medalla al Mérito Cultural Porfirio Barba Jacob, Categoría Oro.
