1 ★My experience with this app has been mixed due to it being completely unreliable. The login process is restarted any time you leave the app, even with the screen open. On multiple occasions this app has stopped the process of using a one-time card because I did one other thing on my phone (like answer a call). The entire transaction on the app is erased, 1-time card, current transaction, etc. Yet, the money for the partial payment is still taken from my funding source. This is not good, Quadpay.
4 ★Great until something goes wrong. (EDIT) Contacted the Escalations email and they were able to do a one-time exception to cancel and refund my order. Very adamant about the "one time" aspect. This still means you should be wary of using Zip with any small businesses that don't have an automated refund system which allows them to ghost you (even if you've used them successfully in the past, things change).
2 ★Pro's - can be used just about everywhere. Con's - I've been a user since 2020. I've used them 16 times, totaling $1,600, and I've, not one time, been late or skipped a payment. I've either paid early or on time. I took a break from shopping and now I'm at a $50 spending power and just pay off FIVE purchases to increase that. Seriously?! That is absolutely absurd. The just no reason for that. I've more than proved I'm responsible.
1 ★Quadpay (Zip) was the first pay over time platform I used. When they came out, they were great. Now that I've been using every platform for several years, I can say that Zip has lost the most of my business. They continue to go downhill and provide more reasons to move on seemingly every few months. Zip has lowered my limit to lower than any other platform, they have the highest pay in 4 fees, and the most issues. That said, you can use it anywhere, so I still use it when it makes sense.
5 ★I enjoy using the Zip, which was previously Quadpay. It's very convenient. There is no deep personal information needed. Your cellphone number, your debit, credit card, or bank account. Once entered, the system verifies your account and gives you your sending credit. As you continue to make payments on time, they increase your spending credit. Try it.
5 ★Very Helpful, first got Zip figure it would be a good way to split some non-essential purchases up. I found out it was for way better than that. When I had a bill due but didn't have all the funds to pay it. Just so happens the company I needed to was listed in Zip's catalog of places you could use their services at. And then I got the card that allowed me to use it in stores that didn't have a scan feature and unlock alot more options. Long story short download it you won't be sorry.
1 ★Amazing app that worked great for months for me. One day, they randomly locked my account for no reason. I've never missed a payment. Took over 45 days for them to unlock it and they requested very personal information to do so. Their support is worthless. They will also bombard you with emails and texts as "reminders" for upcoming payments multiple times a week.
5 ★I'm so glad these apps exist. I've bought items from stores like Best Buy, but have just now realized I can pay (some)bills in 4 payments. Saved me from having my phone service suspended for two weeks. I truly recommend this app for this particularly purpose. It can truly save you in a bind. Had a $346 dollar phone bill that I had to pay in full to keep my service. Didn't know what I was going to do. Then I accidentally hit this app and boom. Paid $88 and my phone bill is paid. Bi-Weekly/8weeks.
2 ★Nice program to use in a pinch. If you've fallen into tight spot, this lets you split it up a purchase into 4 payments with the first payment being the down payment basically. Lately, the app itself has had a hard time loading so I haven't been able to use it. Somebody needs to get on this and fix it. Out of 18 apps on my phone, this is the only one that gives me a problem.
1 ★Great concept, and the physical card is nice, but the customer service is trash. I received a used item, when purchasing something new from a merchant they work with, yet I'm getting no assistance from their support team. I've emailed screenshots, given descriptions of the issue, and yet I get generic responses that a trained monkey could send back - via email reply. They offer no assistance AT ALL. I'd recommend using Klarna, instead, seeing as you can actually get support assistance. Shame
1 ★Customer service doesn't fix anything. They can't seem to pay the full amount to Amazon so you gotta constantly make new digital cards to make payments or they charge you for each transaction and make you start a new payment plan and try telling you in a couple weeks you'll get a refund but hope they don't hit you with another payment.
2 ★Spending limit been the same low amount ever since I started using it 2 years ago. I've always paid on time, too. Dont like the hold when you move a payment up. Also, afterpay pushes your first payment back when you have been in good standing. Awesome feature to give your customers. Dont like the fee for using the app and now for moving the date. Zip customer service is never able to comprehend the simplest of stuff I say so I haaaate having to contact them. If only afterpay had bill pay...
