3 ★I've decided to edit my review after a response from the devs. The gist of the original was expressing frustration over an inability to do laundry due to their servers going down. What I would suggest to the devs is to add a support screen to their app, instead of a non-functional "try again" button, that would automatically redirect to an outage page with more details. The most frustrating part of the incident was not knowing what was wrong, and having to perform several searches to find out.
1 ★This app works very poorly. it takes an incredibly long time to recognize machines, gives communication errors constantly, it's frequently wrong about which machines are available, and its notifications regarding nearly-done loads are usually totally wrong. It will say a load is nearly done 10 minutes after I've removed it from the machine. Ironically, this app is actually LESS convenient than simply using quarters, for the reasons listed above.
1 ★Re writing my previously favorable review. App is not working anymore for some months now. We have two phones with two different wireless providers using this app and it is hit or miss with both in our laundry room. Tells us there is no connection yet I can check email etc just fine. Sometimes it connects but tells us there is no machine nearby but I am standing right next to 4 of them!!! If you are moving into a place that uses this with no option of using coins, then be prepared to go to laundromat a lot and get very frustrated!!
3 ★This app is a great idea but with a few kinks. it's not accurate on the timing which isn't a huge deal, but as one of the major perks could be a wise improvement. Also, it is slow to load which can cause double charging as it will switch from one function to another in the middle of a transaction which is annoying. overall good, but needs improvement. Love the convenience just wish it connected faster and had a more streamlined presentation & Protection against being charged twice for same thing
2 ★Fine when it works, but it's super buggy. The wait times have never been correct, and wait times will show on available machines. I have to use quarters every once in a while. But what gets to me the most is having to force close the app several times, every time, for the slider bars to authorize properly. Adding funds works without issue though. Never had a problem there. Great idea to bless the world with a BT washer and dryer, but a lot of kinks needs to be addressed.
2 ★Awful payment options and inaccurate machine usage. First, you need to be connected to the internet, which in the basement of a concrete building can be tricky at best. Second, you're forced to buy pre-set amounts rather than pay what you need, which means wasted money. The payment option is also defaulted to super cycle, charging you extra if you're not paying attention. Third, the app will not allow you to use machines that are in use, and will often not recognize machines that have been ready to use for over an hour. This is a clumsy, poorly implemented app and I'd rather make a trip to the bank and get quarters than use this. The new machines are smaller, too.
1 ★Not a fan. Feel this doesn't even work right. Every time I use there's an issue. The time on the machine compared to the app is far from being right from the machine. The Bluetooth or however it connects takes me 5-10min to try getting it to "Authorize" slide to pay when it then claims its unavailable, and go in and out of the app over a dozen times. And at the start of the app says it's available. Tired of this.
4 ★Super convenient not to have to run around to get quarters! Mostly good experience with app but on a few occasions it's been a bit laggy, has said machine in use when it's not, or says I'm out of range when I'm not. Also, timer not always 100% accurate. These things only happen occasionally and are still easier to deal with than finding quarters!
3 ★When the app works it's great. More times than not it doesn't work right. I'll scan the QR code to start it, but I'll get an error message. I can stand right next to a washer but it won't connect to the app. I also get out of range messages, even when standing right next to a machine that's not in use!!It's convenient when it works but soo frustrating when it doesn't. Someone please fix the bugs with this and it would be 100% better!!
3 ★I'm not so worried about the 1.75 I lost this time, but I have got to say that the stripped down version of the app ran much smoother, even though it had its problems. The current interface is plagued by random delays in swipe response which can result in the unintentional deposit to another machine. It has happened on another occasion, and also when filling up the wallet. I would prefer that efforts be put into designing a streamlined, straightforward app, with less emphasis on sliding gfx.
3 ★It's a convenient option, but unfortunately there are a lot of issues with the machines in our building and communication with the app makes it harder.. I usually end up getting charged more than once on every trip down there but their support is pretty quick to respond and refund the amount. It's still a hassle. Better appliances would be a major improvement, that's for sure- and app communication.
2 ★Concept is great, sounds like it would be very convenient, but needs a good tutorial on how to use it or some better customer service contact for help. For the time I spent trying to figure it out, I could have just gone and got quarters a couple of times. Plus ended up paying for one wash three times. Great idea but needs implementation needs improvement
