2 ★It more or less gets the job done. As long as you don't need reservations. And as long as you don't care that it doesn't list platform numbers. And the latest update even took away the train direction names, only leaving the numbers, which are not always displayed prominently or at all in stations. Also just has general stability issues and crashes pretty frequently. And sometimes demands I go online to show my pass even though it's been less than an hour since I've been online, not 3 days.
1 ★The app is pretty annoying to use. Many of the trains say they need reservations, even if they do not, and reservations cannot be booked in the app. The reservations themselves can be very costly if you can even get them. So, in addition to buying the pass which guarantees you a ticket, you may need to pay a lot just to reserve a seat. Also you can't see if the trains are booked before buying a pass. However, it works fairly well if you don't want to go to popular places that need reservations.
3 ★The app still needs improvement, wish we could make reservations from the search screen/ page. As it is now you have to go to more options and do your search all over. Also wish we could input a payment type just once and then be able use it for each reservation. It takes forever to reenter all the payment information each time.
1 ★Misleading information.. the website isn't upfront about not being able to make reservations for certain stations. *update: reply to eurail Pricing Was never an issue. Issue came where the selling point of your website is how easy this pass would make your travels easier and more streamline. It isn't until you buy the pass and are actually trying to use the pass where it becomes unclear. No phone number to call. Emailing is pointless as they take too long to resopond.
3 ★For first-timer, not obvious enough nor quickly easy to follow, seemingly too many steps must too does .... oh well, still a good way/reasonable/well worth way of moving around in Europe for busy spontaneous frequently traveling tourists "locals" / Europeans and for overseas visitors! 😎 Sorry to say that GOOGLE MAP app gives way better more detailed informations (!!!) then that this app does. Platforms, stops' / stations' names in between destinations, arrivals / departures of trips.
2 ★Every time it says I need a reservation it says price unavailable. Don't waste your time buying the pass, it's a big waste of money. You'll spend more on reservation fees than the pass itself. Plus having to purchase full price for all the trains that are "unavailable". Edit: I am not trying to book last minute. I've been trying to book for months for a trip that is over 45 days away.
2 ★An incredible time sink at times. "Offline app" is so buggy. The product itself is false advertising. Go to these fine cities with your pass! Oh, except your pass isn't valid for any of them despite us saying it is. And there's absolutely no quick customer service or help available. So don't bother with it. They'll direct you to their forums which there's no guarantee someone will see. Misleading.
1 ★Pretty much a pricy lottery ticket. They made it seem like i could use it on certain trains between Lyon and Nice, and it showed the itinerary so I bought the pass and went to make a reservation. Surprise! Not accepted, no space left. Why did it make it look like there was space when i was searching for itineraries? I tried to reserve a different itinerary but the next surprise was that they weren't accepted in southern France at all. Guess I lose.
1 ★Update: this app never disappoints in finding new and interesting ways to frustrate and confuse me. Really not that easy to use. If you need to reserve a seat, it'll show that a trip is available even if there are no reservations left. It's also hard to look for tickets to any station in a city instead of a specific station
3 ★It is a good app but could definitely use some improvements. The app wouldn't let us go to the websites of the other trains we had to use to make reservations. A few of them did let us make our reservations but most of them didn't work so we had to go to the train station to set up our reservations. We did save a lot of money using this app but as I stated, it could use some improvements
1 ★I never review things, but my experience has been so poor that I need to share so others might avoid this nuisance of a product. The lack of information feels intentional in order to mislead people into purchasing this nearly useless pass. If you want to meander through Europe by going to a station and picking a random train, this might be for you. If you want to plan a trip in advance, don't bother. My trip is 5 months away, and Every. Single. Leg. of my trip is "unavailable". Don't bother.
1 ★This app is almost counterproductive in it's usefulness... None of the information is correct so far and this lack of information is causing me problems on my trip. It took 8 hours to get from Brussels to amsterdam and six train changes (despite app saying there was 1 change) Today I booked a train from amsterdam to Frankfurt that required no changes.... On train I'm told app is wrong and I have to change twice. Arrival times seem random as well. To top it off interface and UI make no sense
