다함께 기억하는 3.1절3.1절 100주년 역사지도
이프로젝트는 커뮤니티매핑센터의 임완수 박사의 아이디어로 시작을 하게되었습니다. 임완수 박사는 지난해 동아운수소녀상 버스 모빌 웹지도를 만들었고, 광화문 촛불집회 편의시설 커뮤니티매핑지도를 만들었습니다. 커뮤니티매핑은 “함께 만드는 공동체 지도만들기" 라는 내용으로 공동체 지도만들기를 통해서 관심분야에 대한 교육, 참여, 그리고 역량강화를 증진시키기위해서 임완수 박사가 시작한 운동입니다.
◆ 배경 및 목적
1919년 3월 1일은 한민족이 일본의 식민통치에 항거하고 독립선언서를 발표하여 한국의 독립 의사를 세계만방에 알린 날로서 일제 강점기에 나타난 최대 규모의 민족운동이었으며, 제1차 세계대전 이후 전승국의 식민지에서 최초로 일어난 대규모 독립운동 이었습니다. 2019년, 3.1절 백주년을 맞이하여 대한민국 국민 혹은 재외동포들이 3.1절에 관련된 개인소장 기록물들을 가지고 커뮤니티매핑을 하는 국민 참여형 “3.1절 100주년 역사지도 만들기”를 하고자 합니다. 시민이 참여하여 관련 사진, 영상, 기사 등 숨어있던 기록물들을 온라인 지도상에 수집하고 기록하여 보전될 수 있도록 할 예정입니다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 카드뉴스를 제작하고 배포하여 국민들의 역사적 관심도를 증진시키고 3.1운동의 의미를 함께 되살려보고자 합니다. 다양한 계층의 참여를 도모하고 이를 통하여 우리가 다 함께 기억해야 할 3.1절 역사에 대한 관심이 지속 될 수 있도록 하며, 초·중·고등학생의 교육 자료로도 적극 활용될 수 있도록 하고자 합니다.
