2 ★free for 6 months, then fee based after that- are you kidding me?! for what? sort of works, cool to get an alert when the load is done. currently I cannot get our dryer reconnected to the app, stopped working. Cleared the network config, and so far it won't reconnect. Google Home sees the 2 appliances, but so far isn't able to connect- I have more hope for Google Home than this app which SHOULD be free, based upon the price of the appliances.
1 ★The app used to work very well until this last update. Even though my appliance was showing in my profile, it said it wasn't connected, but when I tried to reconnect, it wouldn't let me hit the "Yes, continue" button. So I deleted the appliance to try to add it again and now it can't find it. Useless.
2 ★This was definitely one of the reasons we bought this dryer. Not at all obvious that it was a monthly subscription while at Home Depot. Furthermore ... as a web dev, it seems crazy to charge for something as simple as alerting your app when the dryer is done. Because really ... that's all people want. This should be free ... built into the cost of the device.
1 ★Just bought a brand new washer and dryer. The app is useless. Took ages to load up and we can't even connect to the machines. This was a perk that aided in our decision to purchase the Maytag. If I hadn't spent the time and effort getting them in the house and hooking them up already, I would return them. Hopefully it washes and dries better than the functionality of the app.
1 ★App is a convoluted POS. The wireless functions of maytag are useless you have to physically go to the washer/dryer and hit a button to control the device remotely that is the most asinine thing why include WiFi it's false advertising. They also charge 99¢ a month to even use these worthless features but don't tell you. Don't buy maytag they suck I really regret buying them. I guess this is what American made means nickle and diming customers until they're dry. We deserve better than this.

2 ★It seems absurd to me that I should have to pay anything to use this app. The app is not well-refined, and it doesn't offer much. At $0.99 per month after the trial, this seems like a way to milk customers for more money. Edit: the response by Whirlpool proves that they are not interested in feedback.
1 ★Most recent update is terrible! reinstalled it last weekend because it was giving me issues. today it still tells me maybe 30 minutes later that a load is done when I've already changed loads. thankfully it's my free trial....I would not pay for this!
2 ★I'm required to sign in basically every time I want to use the app. IT'S A WASHER AND DRYER! What possible reason is there for expiring my session? If someone logs in using my credentials, what are they going to do? Do my laundry for me?!?! It's absurd.
1 ★Latest update is terrible. It deleted all my favorites, and won't let me add new favorites. There's also no way to see/add/modify favorites when the appliance is running. Please just revert back to old version, at least it works.
1 ★way too much sign up to get told like need a subscription after 6 months to tell me when my laundry is done without getting up. it was expensive as it is and now. I need a season pass for my washing machine. it washes my dirty underwear it doesn't need my contact info or any more of my money
