5 ★Used for months when between cars. It's pretty decent, at some point I changed personal account to a business account and they credited my account prorated for previous rentals which was nice. The odd issue here and there with missing cars, once I went out to a car only to see it drive off right in front of me. Definitely not a substitute for a car, but if you only drive 1-2 days a week itsl convenient Got a cheap work car, kept the account exclusively for van business hire UI does suck though
3 ★App is ok. Most annoying feature is lack of ability to disable notifications. I don't want push OR SMS thanks. Also you should have more control over which notifications you can turn on or off rather than all or SMS.
2 ★I used to enjoy the app. Now it's really buggy, from a weird lag at the sign in, to it resetting the time the booking starts to whatever it wants arbitrarily. It is not an intuitive interface. I can figure out and work around the bugs, but it's pretty annoying. It's easier to just book on a computer, which doesn't help when I'm not at home and want a car.
1 ★This app always wants to know my location and I always say no. There should be a way to say, never ask me again. If you let it know your current location then it shows cars nearby when, nine times out of ten, I want to see the cars near home. Lastly, I have an account for work as well as home and I always get logged into the wrong one and can't extend my booking, the only good feature of the app. I'm deleting this in favour of the web site.
5 ★Using GoGet for years. All vehicles I have used have always been well maintained and clean. Never had issues with their customer support and app is easy to use.
1 ★Recently left GoGet after being with them over two years. More often than not, cars are missing when you arrive for a booking (usually still out on an earlier booking that is overdue) and often you return from a booking to find other GoGet members parked in your spot. Parking is tight in the inner city so GoGet members often park in other GoGet spots because of the easy parking, but it makes it super difficult for the correct cars to return correctly, and you're left searching around for other legal off-street parking. Have been in this situation a number of times. I guess the whole system is pretty open to abuse, which means you can't guarantee you'll get your car even if you book, and you may end up having to find legal off street parking far away from you're designated spot in the places where parking is tight. It was great in the beginning, but now they've grown they need to figure out a way to provide safeguards for abuse. Until then I'm out. At this point it is just too unreliable.
4 ★A convenient option for city dwellers who only need access to a vehicle occasionally, whether for a few hours or a whole weekend. Plenty of vehicle options, easy to book, pick up & drop off. Wonderful customer service, who have resolved issues quickly and courteously. Pricing isn't as competitive as other services, hence the 4 stars. Would still recommend.
4 ★Need to offer more options in selecting the time for the booking. At the moment, slots that are 30 minutes apart are only available. I would also recommend to position the cars in designated parking spots. Occasionally, I have had the situations where I wouldn't be able to park the car from places I picked it from because other cars would be parked in there.
1 ★Don't book if you're in a hurry. Booked a van. Went to pick it up. Standing in front of it. Won't open. Call them. GoGet gave my booked car to someone who wanted it for longer. Claimed that person booked it before me. Either the app is malfunctioning, or that was on purpose. Either way. Plenty of other car shares to turn to. Just not today.
2 ★A few times when I had a booking, arrived at the site to find it wasnt there or not usable. The customer service people were terrible at trying to find another car. One of which had me walking for 15 mins in 40 degree heat realusing it was too far. They were unable to resolve the issue or fairly refund my money. It made me 1.5 hours late for my appointment.
3 ★The service is great but the app clearly needs a lot thought. Hard to locate the helpline number. Viewing invoices feels clumsy. For a mobility app, not having GPS location of the car is simply silly. You have to call the helpline and you start walking around while they're honking the car horn remotely... Feels stupid in this day and age. Please hire some good product managers and product designers.
