The footprint app is used to store your actual location.
The location will be automatically uploaded to the website, in case of internet connection. Otherwise the location will be stored local, and uploaded as soon as an internetconnection gets available.
Locations can be stored by touching the footprint on the screen, or periodically.
The website, footprint.today, is used to show all your locations you have been, on roadmaps or heatmap.
Each user gets his own personnel map pages to share.
Furthermore there are features to add locations you have been in past. In this way you can complete your footprint on earth until now. And show it to your friends!
As privacy is very important, we don't use your email address, or other personnal information. Usage of footprint app and footprint.today is anonymous!
