Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Pos wants permissions that it has no need for. Won't work with over laying enabled connects half the time. Sorry I purchased a cappec. Now in the trash
1 ★I've owned this basically since they became available on amazon. It's pretty much never worked right. My steaks are set for 140 degrees and the current temp is 141 now. The alarm didn't go off like it should have and the app tells me 63 min till the meat is done. Nice one guys... you should probably just call it quits on this one. I know I am...
3 ★The hardware is OK, works well, range is good. Had one probe fail (read 300+ degrees in air temp) but the customer service was fantastic and replaced the probes very quick. It is great value for the price on the hardware alone. The App is terrible. doesn't seem to keep connection over long periods of time. The time remaining function is not very good, seems to not work, setting alarms sometimes crashed the app, unable to choose type of food some times, it just doesn't set it. Pressing anywhere on the top or bottom of the screen go to choose type of meat, wish it would only actually do this when you hit the "Set" text. History seems to be a great idea, but it never seems to record anything, and since I can't keep it connected reliably it has no real purpose. The list goes on. I basically use the app now to check the done temp reference then remember what it is and then just use the temp readouts for the probes. I'm looking for another app that will detect the probes, anyone find anything?
1 ★Since installing the update, time remaining doesn't work. Not a good update.
3 ★I've used this for almost a year now and still waiting for Android Wear support. Also, why doesn't the app allow access to the info on the Desired Doness screen that lists the cooking temperatures for each type of meat if not connected (I sometimes use the unit disconnected from the phone but still would like to know the desired temp).
1 ★App closes down when you get a call it does not retain your settings and timers. You have to reset it each time you go back into the app which is sad because it worked great until I got a call thought it might be my droid maxx tried on my wife's note 5 and my sons iPhone 6.
1 ★It works well if you are close to the base and don't use your phone for anything else. App does not save settings so the graphs and timers are basically useless unless you stand next to the smoker and watch the phone. I can use a corded thermometer for that!
2 ★Unstable. Shuts down unexpectedly.blue tooth flakey Not intuitive. Too bad because the physical thermometer is pretty good. Come devs FIX IT!!!!!!!!
2 ★Spend your money on another brand. The thermometer unit is alright, but I am not rating it.. Whenever I try to "set " the doneness, as soon as I select pork the app shuts down. Total waste of my money.
1 ★If you go to set an alarm it shuts down. Develop the app and you will sell more units!
3 ★The problem I'm having with this app is that it won't stay running in the background of my phone. It works if I monitor it the whole time, but if my phone times out, I take a call or do anything else, the app closes and I have to start all over. It's quite frustrating. If that could be fixed, I'd use it all the time.
4 ★I think the app is working fine on both an s5 and note pro tablet. The limitations I've seen appear to be unit and not app related.
